Where can I get an instruction manual? This does not come with one, and it is confusing

Yes it will hold the original PlayStation 4. I have the original and it holds it perfectly.

Will it hold the slim ps4?

It holds all PS 4 gaming systems. It works but just remember the picture you are seeing doesn't include any wires. It works and keeps everything together but it is also very tall. Anything else you have a question with and I'm around I'll answer. Happy Thanksgiving

Do the move controller charging ports work with the original move controller port design or is it for the updated move controllers ports?

It works for ps3 and ps4 motion controllers.
