Meal Replacement Chocolate

Extremely delicious. Taste like chocolate frosting from a cake. Fills me up, i struggle to have 2 a day. Great for when you are dieting as it contains a lot of the things you need daily. Great Sizwe, extremely easy to mix, let left with no grittiness or lumps. \instructions very clear and easy to read. It has directions for dieting and maintain. i would say its effective in doing what it says. Its not too thick like some meal replacement shakes and smells as delicious as it tastes. You mix it with water which did initially worry me that it would taste watery and be really think but honestly it doesn't effect it at all and i think it would be too much mixed with Milk.

Absolutely love this. It's my 3rd tub. Flavour is great and mixes to a smooth consistency every time. I add a scoop of chicory inulin to help with feeling full and increase fibre. Obviously not as much protein as the likes of huel but due to how smooth it mixes, this wins every time!! Even nicer when mixed with milk

I got this a couple of days ago, but as I’m replacing 2 meals a day I’ve already experimented enough to offer my opinion. When this arrived I hadn’t thought about the tub size, although 2.4kg probably suggests a bigger container, so if you have limited space please consider this before purchase. Size aside, which involved a quick rethink and change of storage location, this is a great product. The large plastic tub it comes in seems pretty good quality, it came sealed with plastic around the lid and the scoop was near the top and easy to access. This said, a few reviews have noted that they had to dig for the scoop, but this didn’t bother me because I figured once I’d found this one I then keep it for the next tub should the scoop be buried. Obviously being a larger tub the opening is large enough for my hand to go through and scoop my powder, which sounds like a silly observation but I’ve had large tubs in other brands previously where the opening was too small to get your hand in and get your scoops of powder. So for me this is a big plus. The powder itself seems relatively fine, until it’s mix, but I’ll explain what I mean. So far I’ve used milk and water to make shakes and there’s not much in it, both liquids mixed well but despite trying various methods such as shake longer or leave standing once mixed and shaking again, there is an ever so slight grainy texture. Not unpleasant, but nonetheless it is there. And as this is an honest review to give you the best information to make your choice I wanted to share my experience so far. Now maybe there’s a method to mix this and make it smoother, but a slight con is the instructions are printed rather small. Not tiny but small enough it was a struggle to read against the gold background. However, the flavour is delicious. Many chocolate meal replacement shakes I’ve had have been quite sweet. Again, not unpleasantly sweet but too sweet in my opinion. This however seems to be the perfect sweetness, making it nice to drink twice a day until I get a different flavour. Of course I’ll do what I used to and potentially mix in banana or other things from time to time to change the flavour profile and break down having constant chocolate. And so far, no unpleasant side effects. What I mean is that some I’ve tried have left me feeling bloated, sick or flatulent which this one has not done so far. Of course if that changes I’ll edit this review. But over all I’m happy with this product. Texture is acceptable, flavour is good and above all it’s a great budget tub as it holds 40 days of single shake meal replacement, compared to most maxing out around 16 days unless you buy the really expensive big names that come in the size. Meaning I’m ahead of the game already because I plan to start with 2 a day for weight loss, which still gives me 20 days compared to more expensive products that give you fewer days. I can’t speak for effectiveness yet, whether it helps with weight loss using 2 a day and helps maintain weight when using 1 a day. But, if it does what it says this will be almost the perfect product, which only drops a star due to not being able to get it completely smooth as yet. And finally, so far it has kept me full, and I mean full. The first day I had the morning shake and by lunchtime I wasn’t particularly hungry when I had the second. And by dinner time I was still feeling relatively full. Given that with previous products I’ve usually had to have a snack with the shake like fruit, to fool my brain into thinking I’d eaten, so far I’ve not needed the snack with the shake or even snacked between meals. If that continues this should do a great job with weight loss and weight management. But again I’ll report back. So if you’re looking for a meal replacement and you’re on a budget then I’d say you can’t go far wrong by trying this at around the £20 price for 20-40 days. Of course we all react differently to these things, and maybe it won’t be for you but better to lose £20 then pay £35 plus for other brands that supply fewer days. Happy weight loss and management! Edit: Having mixed my shake this morning and left it to stand a couple of minutes before shaking again, I got distracted and ended up leaving it for 15 minutes. And I can confirm that this made no difference to the texture, and there was still that slightly grainy (but not unpleasant) feel.

Good flavour, no residue and lower calories than i.e. serious gainz wey products which I have also bought. Would buy again.

I've been using this product for months now. I've had all the flavours. I'm currently on the strawberry one. The shakes are gritty but nice. Using water mixes well, using semi-skimmed milk makes it very smooth and thicker, I'm almost addicted lol. I'd recommend an automatic mixer as it takes around 30 to 40 seconds of good shaking to get the lumps out. The only down side to this is that you will have gas, the smelly kind. For anyone who isn't used to the shakes, the first few times you take them, they will clean you out. A bit of toast sorted me out.

I was hoping this would be worth the money, but unfortunately not. It's powdery even when mixed well so doesn't give a good texture. It also doesn't taste of chocolate, it tastes more like weetabix.

Using this for weight loss/meal replacement. The instructions are so tiny I was walking around my house trying to read it under different lights. Mixes really well and tastes good. Tastes like a decent chocolate milkshake and has a decent texture. Not too thick not too thin. Only downside is my farts absolutely stink lol!! Been using it a week so a bit early to say if it’s working or not.

Super franchement pas du tout déçue. A la base j’ai pris ça parceque je ne déjeune pas le matin et j’ai pas le temps. Depuis que j’ai commencer à boire un le matin je suis beaucoup moins fatiguée. Pas trop sucrée pas écœurant j’apprécie j’ai pris goût chocolat. Et franchement pas chère pour 1 petit déjeuné pour 40jours 25€

Je ne suis pas fan du goût de chocolat, mais j’adore! Je suis étonnée que j’aime ce goût !

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! Per me è il migliore Sostituto per pasto! Mescolate con latte o acqua ha un ottimo gusto di cioccolato senza retrogusto strano, per me ha il sapore del latte e Nesquik che prendevo da bambino, inoltre è ricco di vitamina, solo 200Kcal a porzione e saziante. Io lo uso perché sto in fase di Ricombinazione corporea, quindi sostituzione di massa grassa con massa magra; lo uso per sostituire 2 pasti al giorno che mi permette di stare in deficit calorico senza arrivare al pasto successivo con la fame. Non ho nemmeno avuto problemi intestinali, anzi mi ha regolarizzato.
