HOLY SH*T!!!! THE BUDS I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!!!!!
I owned a cheap set of wireless earbuds and although they sounded good, they cut out from time to time. And it WAS the earbuds, not the phone. Then again, what do you want for a cheap set of wireless earbuds, eh? That's when I decided to do some more research on a new set of earbuds.I saw a review on YouTube about the Soundcore Life A2 NC earbuds. I passed up Skull Candy, Samsung, Jabra and even Bose. AND I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER! Read on as to why.Pro's:- App-supported!!!! When I found out these had a supporting app, I was like, "why would I want an app for my buds?" Then I saw the features...- Firmware upgradeable. As soon as I connected them to my phone and launched the app, the firmware upgrade process started and it was easy-peasy! I have yet to research what the upgrade was, but I didn't care. The fact that it went through the process with only a couple of taps made me smile a bit.- App-controlled EQ. The multitude of different multi-band EQ settings is DOPE! Not to mention that the EQ settings are 8 bands. EIGHT FREAKIN' BANDS!!!!! WHO DOES THIS?!?!?!- Customizable EQ!!! You can even set up your OWN customized EQ settings instead of selecting from the pre-made EQ's. I have NO idea how many you can do, but it looks like enough to satisfy your sound tastes.- App-controlled NC. VERY impressed with the NC on these buds. They have it so that you can shut off the feature, thereby saving battery life, but the NC levels are nice to have. I sometimes sit in bed with my wife while she watches her shows and I listen to music. Can't hear any ambient noises when I turn on the NC. And this is NICE.- The NC is helped along by six - 6 - SIX - microphones!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME????- Comfortable fit!!! My ears are probably average size, but my ear canals are small. I just switched out the pads for the smallest ones and they fit nice! I can shake my head a bit and they won't come loose! No ear fatigue and I can sometimes barely feel them!- Instant-connect! As soon as you open the clam shell charging base, the buds connect, and THAT is a nice feature! My previous buds had to be taken out of their base to connect. Not these! You can start adjusting the app as soon as you open the case!- Battery level indicators are in the app, so you can see just how much of a charge your buds have.- Moderately priced. In comparison to other earbuds by different makers, these earbuds are worth every penny you spend on them.Con's:N/A-----------------------Final thoughts:Regarding battery life: if you're listening to music for over 7 hours a day, you have too much time on your hands. Get a job! But don't use these while doing your job, otherwise you won't hear anything outside of your head.I let my wife test them and she was blown away by the sound quality and comfort - and she's particularly picky about the comfort. So I ended up buying her a pair that will be here today. ;)I saw some issues regarding the sound cutting out. I can't chalk these up to the buds. Sometimes, YouTube Music, iHeart and SiriusXM cut out regardless of how I'm listening (internal phone speaker, Bluetooth speaker, corded buds, Soundcore), so I can't attribute this particular issue to the earbuds.Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed and plan to buy some more of these as gifts for some special people in my life.

Life A2 nc Best headphones on the planet
Hey let me start out with saying this is not a paid review. But let me tell you the clarity of these headphones are superb. To the point that if you use these for gaming you can tell whats going on at their house. Down to if they are eating chips you can tell what kind of chips based off of the type of crunch. the bass is perfect pure and on point. The 6 microphones are perfect aswell. i used to work as a laser operator and if you have ever been next to a laser you know how loud it is to burn die cuts, well the people on the opposite end of your call will not be able to hear any of your background with these headphones. the only issues is Ive had many pairs of these headphones in the past. but last summer i must have dropped one while i was riding my motorcycle and ive ordered two pair since then but sound core keeps sending me life dot 2 models and those are ok and would be excellent to someone that has not experience the life a2 nc headphones. i really need another pair of the life a2 nc headphones. the price should be way more than what you are selling them for. if you have ever had airpod max with the directional sound turned off to boost the volume (wink) those are close to how these sound and those are $700 and up headphones. please soundcore could you check my purchase history and send me a new pair of the life a2 nc model that would be much appreciated

Great Set of Budget Earbuds
I've had these earbuds for a little over a year now, and here's what I think of them. I bought these primarily to use for exercising and they have really impressed me, especially for the price. I'll break this down by the different aspects of them. If you just want a quick rundown, there's a short conclusion at the end of the review.Sound Quality:I'm no audiophile, but the sound quality of these is hard to beat for the price. The bass, mids, and highs are all there and I've never noticed any distortion. They obviously aren't going to match the same level of fidelity as a more expensive set like my WF1000xm4s, but they will definitely get the job done. I also appreciate how you can use the Soundcore app to adjust the EQ to your liking to get your preferred sound style.Noise cancelling/ambient sound:This is the only aspect of these earbuds I was really disappointed with. The noise cancelling is very weak, so while you can tell it's there it's very ineffective. I sometimes struggle to tell if it's on or not. Same goes for the ambient sound mode. It simply doesn't do enough. While I understand these are budget earbuds and so I shouldn't expect much from them in terms of these sound modes, I wish it was a bit better.Case quality:This is one of the best cases for truly wireless buds I've used, regardless of price. It's weighty, has strong magnets to keep the buds in, has great battery life, has wireless charging, has a nice rubber flap to protect the charging port from dust and water, and just has a nice premium feel to it. The hinge is strong with nearly no play. The form factor is great too, it's definitely a wide case but it's thin meaning that it still fits easily into any pocket. The case was one of the most impressive parts of this set of earbuds to me, being an even better case than the one for my Sony earbuds.Earbuds fit:These buds fit well in my ears, especially with the included rubber winglets that hook into your ears. However, I do have fairly large ears and so even using the large wings and the large eartips they can still start to slip out when I'm doing a lot of movement (such as going for a run) especially once I've started sweating. If there was one size larger included it would be perfect.Battery life:No complaints at all here. Nothing exceptional though. These last as long as any other earbuds, which is perfectly fine by me.Microphone quality:These are bluetooth earbuds. No bluetooth earbuds have a great microphone. These are perfectly acceptable and more than clear enough to use for a phone call. Just don't expect anything near the sound quality you'll get with a wired microphone.Touch controls:I've never been a big fan of touch controls on earbuds, but these are pretty good. They aren't too sensitive, so you need to be deliberate with your touches which is exactly what I want out of touch controls on earbuds. They also have good customization through the app. I only wish there were a for more options like for a triple tap.In conclusion, these are a great set of budget truly wireless earbuds. Awesome sound quality for the price, a high quality case, they fit well, they have good battery life, and they have good touch controls. Customization through the Soundcore app is great, too. My only disappointment is with the noise cancelling and ambient sound modes. 4/5 stars.
