Curse-free decal installation!
We have motorcycles -- not like most normal people have cars and bikes, I'm talking 25 in the garage right now, and we've owned and restored hundreds over the years (I know, we're weird). Dirt bikes, adventure bikes, vintage motocrossers and modern sport bikes all require the application of decals at some point or another, so you can imagine how many times I've applied the darned things.I've tried all the tricks - alcohol, half alcohol and water, Windex, etc. etc. Some of these things do allow easier placement but degrade the ability of the decal edge to adhere effectively over time. Others allow adhesion too quickly. Nearly everything leaves at least a few bubbles which are impossible to squeegee to the edges so I end up poking them with a pin to remove them, leaving small spots where dirt and grime collect and are difficult to remove. So, when the hubby bought an expensive set of decals for his new sportbike, you can imagine how thrilled I was to have the job of applying them. Not only was this a project that had to look good, it had to stay looking good for a long time. Add to the complexities of this installation is the fact that every one of these 12 decal locations had compound radii which required the flat decals to conform to curved plastic. Fuuuun.I knew my regular process of spraying everything with water/alcohol/soap mixture, cussing, squeegeeing, cussing, using the heat gun, then cussing some more wasn't gong to cut it, so I did some internet searching. Many online forums later I decided to try Rapid Tac.I purchased the Rapid Tac Application Fluid and Rapid Prep Cleaner, yes they're not cheap, and yes they come in a small bottle, but if they could help me produce good results without ruining an expensive decal kit I considered it a good investment.I brought all the plastic inside the house, removed the old graphics then washed everything in hot soapy water, I then set it aside to dry completely overnight. The next morning I double checked the installation information given on the Rapid Tac website, then carefully wiped down the first piece of plastic with the Rapid Prep using regular cheap paper towels as recommended. I then sprayed Rapid Tac on the plastic, removed the backing on the decal and sprayed it down, then applied the decal. Once it was placed properly (after a couple of easy repositions) I started squeegeeing out the fluid starting in the middle. The fluid came out easily and without bubbles. I used a heat gun to ease the decal around corners and was able to work the decal for at least 15 minutes before things dried completely and began to set up.All 12 decals were installed on 6 pieces of plastic in about an hour. There's no bubbles, no wrinkles, and the job looks like it was done professionally. I would have never been able to do this without Rapid Tac.If this is your first time installing graphics you won't be able to grasp just how incredibly helpful this product is, but if you've struggled with getting perfect results before you're going to absolutely love this stuff. Follow the directions, be sure you're working with a 100% clean surface, you'll be amazed with the results.

Worked great!
I had a short window between rain and dark. It worked great. I was able to position the decals where I wanted before squeezing them down. This was in 40 degree weather too. I was done in about 20 minutes.

Good way to avoid decal bubbles.
Good method to avoid bubbles between layers of films. Make sure you have are dust free and have good squeegees available when you use it. You have a couple of minutes to reposition the item before it dries enough to start grabbing.

Tried it, Won't Buy it Again.
Personally I don't like this at ALL. I bought it for sublimating on glass using laminating film. Nothing at ALL I liked about it...smell...adhesion...value for money, ease of use and the list goes on. I found it very difficult to get and MAINTAIN a seal on the glass without incurring bubbles or streaks. I then read about a gentleman that uses water, a drop or two of dish soap and alcohol so I gave it a try and VOILA! I'm sold on making my own. In my opinion, MUCH easier to use and the cost is next to nothing.

Great for installing paint protection films
Between the hood and the bumper of a RAV 4 is about a 50" x 5" strip of metal that gets hit and the paint chipped by rocks thrown up from the roadways. A Hood protector helps take care of the hood itself and deflects for the windshield but still leaves the 50" x 5" painted area prone to rock chips. I installed XPel only paint protection film to cover the area and this spray made the alignment of the vinyl really easy to align and once in place the vinyl was easy to squeegee out the bubbles and when dried helps the vinyl adhere quite well. Have always mixed up some Dawn and water in a spray bottle for such installs, but this is so easy to use, gives plenty of time to work with the vinyl, and really helps it adhere to corners and folds. Would buy again, but a small bottle goes a long way. Did two cars and still have 1/2 bottle left!

Super helpful
Put simply: this stuff works. Aligning decals and getting all the bubbles out (this is on curved motorcycle fairings) is hard no matter what, but this stuff let me reposition it and completely remove I and reinstall a decal like 5x before I got it as good as was going to get it. If I was stuck with my first application, I would have been buying another set of decals. It also dries completely and leaves a good seal. I tried using drops of Dawn and water on another decal, and it let me reposition a bit, but not as easily or completely and portions of the decal never stuck properly.

Great product to allow easy vinyl installation
This is a great product to allow easy vinyl installation, even those interior car wraps, which normally have to be installed "dry".Some people said to use soapy water, and that will provide the same results, but I tried that before and the Rapid TAC was always the best product compared.Just don't be afraid to spray a generous layer of the product, first on the surface where the sticker/wrap is supposed to go, as well as the sticker/wrap itself, for a perfect easy fit.
