After using iStorage products for several years, I decided to try out the new diskAshur M2 and I can honestly say that it’s the best in its class. Highly recommended!

Works well for 2 Months now. Easy to use. Good case. Code entry is convenient. No problems so far. Using it on Mac and PC. No connection problems. Fast transfer.

This storage device is dreadful - it disconnects after 35 seconds every single time and you have to constantly re-authenticate to get it back online. The patch they supply does not help and setting USB power tweak as they suggest also does not help. This is not usable.

This is a great way to travel or use at home to protect your data from theft and use by someone else.

The iStorage Diskashur M2 does seem to work better with recent high end Win11 PC desktops and laptops and Macbooks less than 2 years old.However, as many other reviewers of the iStorage Diskashur M2 have noted, the Win 10 disconnect patch and adjustments to USB settings work with only a subset of Win 10 PCs.Most Win10 laptops require use of a powered USB3 hub with >700 mA capacity per USB. A BYEASY 4 outlet 2000 mA hub works.None of the documentation mentions that it arrives as exFAT and must be reformatted to NTFS before use as Win10 backup that preserves file attributes.For most Win10 laptops and desktops, it initially disconnects after 10 seconds to a few minutes. I have tested this on 5 Win 10 PCs, all with the recommended patch installed and power saving turned off for USB devices. It would not work for 4 of 5 Win10 PCs. The use of a powered hub solved this problem.This drive claims to be plug and play for a wide range of PCs, Macs and OS systems but this is not my experience.However, if this fits your context, it otherwise works well.

Wouldn't turn on or allow me to set the pin, no lights at all unless it was attached to a computer and then would not allow a pin to be set.

iStorage n'a pas réussi a créé un produit compatible avec Windows. Après une dizaine d'échanges avec leur service support et un premier retour à l'usine (à ma charge), iStorage rejette toujours la faute sur Windows. A mon avis c'est à iStorage de s'adapter à Windows et non le contraire. Je vais tenter un remboursement...

After trying several external SSDs I decided to give it a try to iStorage diskAshur. I was a hesitant because of the price. I just tried it and WOW!Worth every penny:+ Super easy to use+ Excellent and simple admin and user controls+ NO SOFTWARE required - Zero, nada, rien, nothing+ Works with iPad, Windows, MacIf you care about security, it is a very worthy investment.Totally recommended!

Voor mijn belangrijkste data, werkt zoals beschreven en voor mij is dit een extra backup met encryptie.
