I prefer the ones the flex on the inner side which are much easier to install.

I have 20 year old windows with a few of the stops broken out. I purchased these after very carefully measuring the existing stops, and still I found these a tough fit. I had to gently hammer them to get them in place. After cracking about 5 of them, I did manage to get a few in whole. They're snug but they work. Now to work up the courage to do the few remaining...

These vent stops were a perfect fit for my vinyl windows and were easily installed. The key to an easy installation for me was to insert the bottom of the stop into the window slot first, and then push down slightly while pressing the top part of the stop into the slot. Took less than 10 seconds to install each stop.

replaced broken ones from older Home Depot windows. work well.

These worked well. They didn't come with instructions, so it took a few minutes of experimenting during installation. But once I chanced upon the right angle, it was simple--they easily slide into place.They seem solid enough that they should last. Of the original stops that came with my windows, several had cracked and fallen out. These are of equal quality or perhaps a bit better.

Exactly what I was looking for. They snapped right into my existing windows.

These are actually great devices however I would like to understand how they work better. I am not sure if I need to mount these to the window so with hot glue? Or how they affixed to the frame so the window doesn't slide up

i didnt think i would ever be able to replace the originals since the window company went out of buisness , that installed my windows .
