Defunct item
The item does not work and power on. The adapter connecting the strip line to the power has a flimsy connection and looks broken to me— this may have been a bad batch. I would be grateful if Amazon would contact me for a replacement.

Poor adhesion, not worth the price
I am disappointed with this product. It is not as good as I expected. The strip does not stick properly to the surface and keeps coming off by itself. For this price, I expected much better quality and durability. I would not recommend this product at this price point.

Deceptively Complicated Installation
Be aware connecting extension proves difficult around corners and some of the adhesive just peels off when trying to stick it. Subpar installation set up - not as easy as they make it seem.

Great ambient lighting behind the bed – no more knocked-over lamp I installed this Philips Hue LED strip behind my bed frame to replace a bedside lamp that kept getting knocked over, and it’s been a really nice upgrade. The light it gives off is soft and even, perfect for winding down at night without being harsh or blinding. Having the strip hidden behind the bed frame creates a clean ambient glow instead of a direct light source, which makes the room feel more relaxed and modern. Setup was straightforward using the Hue app, and once connected, the controls are very convenient. I can easily adjust brightness, change colors, or turn it on and off without reaching for a switch. It’s especially handy at night since there’s nothing to bump into or accidentally knock over anymore. The adhesive has held well so far, and the strip feels high quality, like other Hue products I’ve used. It’s definitely more expensive than basic LED strips, but the reliability, color quality, and smart features make it worth it if you’re already in the Hue ecosystem. Overall, this is a great solution for subtle bedroom lighting and a practical replacement for a bedside lamp.
