Such a pleasant sound
Got this little jewel for my 18 month old grandson. It's tones are muted and soothing. So no parental unset. He loves playing with it and so does Mom and Dad. Neighbors don't complain either. So if you want to drum on something and not annoy anyone, this is for you.

Check Item Before Gifting
This item was purchased for a one year old child.The size is perfect for small hands to pat and hear tones. That said, the tones made only with hands are not great. The included mallets provide a nice round tone if used properly.I strongly recommend opening the package and experimenting with the provided music booklet.As I did so, I discovered the numbers were incorrectly placed and four of them needed to be re-labeled. Fortunately, the manufacturer includes a strip of additional numbers. By using the provided music booklet, I was able to correctly number the sections.The music/instruction booklet is generally good. I wish they included a chart to explain some of the symbols used with the numbering system above the musical bar. I also wish they would provide a small tool to use to correctly tune the drum. Overall, the intonation is good. The only obvious intonation problem is the high octave "1" note. It's about a half step flat. I didn't want to adjust it because I'm not sure what tool to use, and I am concerned I will scratch the lovely surface.Overall - I actually love this beginner's tongue drum. The tones are pleasant, and it will be nice to hear children "pounding" on this rather than clashing odd items together as they pound away.NOTE - Young children should be supervised when playing the instrument. The included finger tap pads will not be provided to my grandchildren. Also, ensure they don't chew on the 3 rubber drum base pads. Both items are choking hazards.

The carry bag is important!
I love it so much!!! All of it, I love it. It’s so cute, and sounds so beautiful and the carry bag makes it more easy for me to take it everywhere with me. 🥰🥰🥰

Sounds great
Not the most high end. Price reflects that. However, it sounds great. My kids love it and I love that the sound doesn't grate on my nerves.

Good purchase
I read some of the reviews and was concerned this drum would be cheap and crappy but decided to try for the price since it’s for our 4yr old. It sounds great and seems durable and great for the price. I even played it and it was really melodic and calming. Definitely easy to use.

Not the best tones and one stick came broken customer service is awesome though 👍
The musical notes that come from this are very quiet. I knew the drum was small but figured it would still give a nice sound well not so much... I mean for 17$ I guess its fun to fiddle with but not something I will regularly use.
