We breed Goldendoodles and we use this for our newborn puppies. Temperature is critical for newborn pups — it’s a matter of life or death because they can’t regulate their own temperature. This really helps us monitor the puppies temperatures in their whelping environment without using a rectal thermometer. It helps us get quickly determine if they are too cold, too hot or doing just right. I recommend this to any breeder! Only caveat is the settings are calibrated for humans, not puppies — so knowing what a good low and high temp for neonates is very important (I often have to ignore the too low/high alarms). It also stops being able to accurately read temperature when their fur grows in thicker - but by that point they can regulate their temperature and temperature monitoring isn’t as critical. As a bonus, it’s non-contact so easy to also use interchangeably on humans too :).

Works well and easy to use

So far so good. Needs to calibrated as it is off my a degree to degree & a half compared to other thermometers in the house. Will work for now

We have several physicians in the family and they all agree this style of thermometer is the most accurate. It’s easy to use and only take an are seconds for a temperature reading. We have a family member who is susceptible to fevers due to a genetic immune disorder and we’ve relied on this thermometer so much, I just bought a second one to have as a backup . Highly recommend this item.

Best forehead thermometer out there! Like many other reviews, I have also bought 2! I like to have a back up, having three kids it’s super easy, convenient, & non invasive. To prove it’s accuracy I took my temperature with a hospital grade thermometer I have (due to health anxiety) and then took my forehead temp and usually they’re a couple degrees or points off, due to one being an oral temperature and one being forehead, but it so happens they matched!

Stopped working. We didn’t have it even a month. The battery part corroded.

LOVE I use it for work and it’s fast and accurate.

Easy to read. Rapid results

1. It doesn't work when the environment is too cold, like less than 18. 2. You cannot change the unit of measurement and for it to remember the change, ie, you have to change it each time you use it.
