Works very well! Looks great too
Wanted a capo to practice playing my favourute songs, but was put off from the cheaper capos by reviews saying that all strings were not pressed down properly Decided to stick with this one as it had great reviews - no regrets at all! It works like a charm, sounds great and looks unique too

The world's greatest capo. Kaiser still rules!
Nothing new here, just the most reliable and easy to use capo on earth. Can easily move it with 1 hand. Doesn't mute any strings. Of course they come in the coolest colors too. I've tried other cheapo capos and they all mute the strings until you fiddle about and get them to sit just perfect. The Kaiser still rules.

Stick with Kyser
When the spring broke on my 20-year-old Kyser capo I thought I'd replace it with a cheaper one. I mean how much different can there be between them? The other one just wasn't quite strong enough or something, because the strings didn't resonate as well (I only have an acoustic), particularly when placed on the first fret. So I ordered a purple Kyser and it definitely performs better. I'll keep the other for if I ever get an electric or something. Lesson learned. Quality does matter for capos! BTW, the purple Kyser looks great.
