This is a phenomenal book. This has clear tips for people getting into stand-up. While I don’t plan on doing stand-up, this book is excellent for helping with the joke process. She gives tons of examples for each technique and without even doing the workbook, her examples and explanation get the wheels spinning so much so that I had to put the book down every page or so to write out a joke that her content inspired. Will revisit this book often!

Such a great book showing the workflow how to start from an idea to a polished set for performance. Really helped me learn how to stay organized and have clear ideas audiences can understand. Judy is awesome!

To my knowledge theres not a lot of comedy guidebooks out there and in my opinion this is one of the best. It offers a practicle approach to performing stand up in a step by step methodology. Would recommend.

If you are into long format comedy, this is the right book. Judy teaches how to write an hour long show. So the next kevin heart, russell peters and kaizan irani can come from here.
