Edit. Tried with our childs Kindle fire HD and it worked instantly and perfectly. Seems my Kindle has probably got a defective port, therefore 5 stars! I will keep the original review in as it may be a benificial diagnostic for anyone with KFHD experiencing the same problem! Came promptly, small enough packaging to fit through my letter box so no picking up from depot! Plugged it in to my Panasonic viera smart tv and... nothing.. un-plugged and plugged both ends of the cable and still nothing... then suddenly it worked, fantastic HD quality! Then I picked up my kindle fire and it went off, I have found once you lose the signal you have to unplug the cable and start again, you cant just waggle it to connect. So it seems the micro end of the cable does not fit snug enough to make a secure connection, it does the job but only if you have it working and leave it alone for say watching a film on Love Film, it's great for that but as soon as I move it the signal cuts out. Is it worth asking for a replacement? I dont know, because the build quality on inspection looks great, just beware with the Kindle fire HD.

La calidad del producto es correcto sin más. Por el precio que tiene, ya podrian haber metido materiales mejores, las cosas como son. El cable me llegó con un arañazo en la punta de un cable, pero no es ni grave ni profundo así que no lo he devuelto. Además no se si me llegó así o lo hize yo mismo sin querer arrastrándolo detrás de mi escritorio, así que por las dudas, me lo quedé. Hasta el momento funciona correctamente. Ningún problema. Me fastidia la calidad de los materiales, que la verdad se lo podían haber currado un poco, pero mientras funciona, todo OK

When I purchased my computer, I saw that it only had a micro hdmi port. With the need to present, I figured I'd have to shell out big bucks for a new cord. I ran across this cord and decided to give it a try instead of going for the expensive alternative at a local store.Blue rigger has impressed me with both price and quality. Here is my experience: The cord works as advertised and has continued to work over the course of the 6 months that I have owned it. It connects my computer to my television every time without any hesitation. The durability has been fantastic as the cord has undergone some pretty interesting shapes in order to make it plug in a way it wasn't necessarily intended to. The connectors hold firmly in the computer and the television and the ends of the cable have not even come close to fraying. Overall, the cord has and is continuing to work very well and has been a great buy. I will be looking to blue rigger in the future for my cord needs. You never know what kind of cords you will need in the future, they keep making everything smaller and changing them! I am happy with the product and I believe it is a cheap solution to any micro hdmi needs!

nothing special but both cables work and i was able to do what was needed. happy with the product.
