Hurst 1630025 White 5-Speed Replacement Shifter Knob

Decided to replace the old cracked hurst knob that was in my Mustang when I bought it. This was an exact replacement and came in hurst packaging. You must use the jam nut or run the risk of cracking the knob. Wish it had a bit more weight to it. But overall happy for the price.

This is a Hurst 5-speed replacement shifter knob. It comes in Hurst factory packaging with jam nut. The threaded part is a metal insert with 3/8"-16 threads. It is high quality, with shifting pattern and Hurst name engraved on the side. The item arrived as described and was a direct replacement for my Hurst shifter application.It is not a universal fit knob. It requires the threads for the application be 3/8"-16 or if not, use of an adapter, which is not included. If you are purchasing this for a different application, then it will not fit. If you are thinking about purchasing this knob and do not know the thread size of your application, then I suggest purchasing a thread pitch gauge and calipers before purchasing this knob.

Installed this on a 2001 S10 5 speed. when I found out they don't make a aftermarket shifter for my truck I had to make one but the knob looks great on there!
