The water tastes just like it did when I still wore a uniform. Do I prefer my Nalgene? Yes. Does my Nalgene fit in a G.I. canteen cup, inside an LC-1 or -2 canteen cover? It does not, but this green canteen does.

I would definitely recommend this item works very well.Well, constructed trouble-free.

Made my kid sick
My son used this and ended up throwing up and having diarrhea for 3 days, so did about 2/3 of the kids at his program who also used this item. If you're going to use this and you get sick too, please leave a review so people know I'm not the only one with concerns. They used some serious chemicals in this canteen for that to happen.
