You just screw it to the wall and hang your fire extinguisher from it, But, make sure your extinguisher can use this type of hanger. There are several. If at the neck you have a hole extending out you are ok. Go to a store and look at other extinguishers for ideas.

Twice now, this product has arrived without the screws. i'm not doing another return, so can someone please tell me what size screws i need to use?

Hello Veronica E., I'm not the person you bought these from because I always put screws in with the order but I will try to help you. If your wall is made of sheetrock you need to locate a wooden stud and use a screw about 1 1/2 inches long to install your wall hook. Hello, These wall hooks fit many different brands of extinguishers. You need to make sure the extinguisher has an eyelet that will hook into this wall hook. If you want to make sure you are buying the right hook for your extinguisher just send me the model number and or a picture of the top half of the back of the extinguisher and I will make sure you are buying the right one.
