I was skeptical about this ThunderShirt working. But I hated to see my almost 5 year old Australian Shepherd waking up as a thunder and lightning storm came through. He would shiver and throw himself across me and stay close as he possibly could. It simply works! He’s used it 3 times and he’s no longer a nervous dog during storms. He weighs 52 pounds and I got him the Large size. At first I thought it might be too big but once I got it adjusted it fit perfectly. The Velcro really makes for quick adjustments. I’m happy with it and I recommend it completely.

Our little man suffers from anxiety and is generally very nervous particularly if big events occur e.g. holidays, fireworks etc. He now loves wearing this as it helps to calm him and he even paws at it for us to put it on him. A+++

Ho acquistato la thunershirt nel periodo prenatalizio, la mia cagnetta soffriva moltissimo i botti e i fuochi d'artificio ed io vivo in una zona della città in cui a Natale, e peggio a Capodanno, sembra di stare a Beirut. Le prime volte che le ho fatto indossare la maglietta, non riscontravo alcuna differenza. Poi invece le sue reazioni sono sempre andate migliorando. Gestisce molto meglio l'ansia ed in tempi molto brevi, alcuni tipi di spari li ignora completamente e continua a dormire, si attiva solo per quelli più acuti e più vicini, ma come scrivevo prima riesce a gestire l'ansia più facilmente e in tempi più brevi. Certo come scrivevo non è una bacchetta magica, e non conferisce al cane super poteri, ma posso ritenermi molto soddisfatta del prodotto. Non si deve avere l'aspettativa che una volta indossata il cane non abbia più paura dei botti, ma guardare le sue reazioni e vedere se migliorano rispetto a prima. Va indossata solo per brevi periodi, quando realmente necessario, il cane potrebbe assuefarsi. NON è uno strumento coercitivo come ho letto scritto in un altro commento. Sicuramente ogni soggetto è diverso, e bisognerebbe capire il perchè di alcuni stati d'animo dei singoli cani, perchè in molti casi la maglietta da sola non potrebbe nulla.
