The Big Fat Middle School Math Workbook: 600 Math Practice Exercises (Big Fat Notebooks) Review: I’m no dummy - Used as a review from my 1980’s math classes. All good, couple of questions per chapter. Do a chapter a day for practice. Review: Love this book series and have them on kindle as well. - 8th Grade Homeschool Review: As a parent and homeschool educator, I've been using a set of books for 8th-grade homeschooling, and I'd like to share my thoughts. These books have proven to be a valuable resource in our homeschool journey. They provide a solid foundation for various subjects, covering a wide range of topics essential for 8th-grade students. What I appreciate most about these books is their comprehensive approach. They offer a well-structured curriculum that allows students to delve into subjects such as mathematics, science, literature, and history. The content is clear, and the exercises and activities help reinforce the learning process. However, it's worth noting that while these books are fantastic as guides, they might not provide all the answers. As with any educational materials, there may be moments when students need additional support or clarification. In such cases, we've found supplemental videos and other educational resources to be incredibly helpful. The combination of these books and supplementary materials has been the key to a well-rounded education. Subnote: This review is intended to serve as a general overview for all the books I'm currently using for 8th-grade homeschooling. If any of the books stand out, either for their exceptional quality or shortcomings, I will provide a more detailed review for that specific book. It's all about ensuring that our homeschooling experience is as enriching as possible.

Even the middle schooler learned something
This workbook has actually been pretty helpful. The middle schooler in our house uses it occasionally and is always slightly surprised when the book manages to teach her something. It has a lot of practice problems and explains concepts clearly. Good extra resource when math homework starts getting serious.

Double check it is not used
The book is great. It gives great examples and the answer pages give you a step by step on how to solve the problem. I knocked off a star only because the first 25 pages were already done. The seller advertised as new but since the first 25 pages were worked it was not a new book. We kept the book since those pages were easy pages for my daughter and she needed to practice the later chapters.
