I like the simplicity of the design and function. It's great for smoothies. You can store it with the provided lid, or travel with it, as the lid has a spout for drinking. I had a Beast before this and I liked it, but the motor burned out after 2 years, and it did not get heavy use. I decided to look for an alternative and I am happy with this purchase.

This is the best of many blenders, both personal and larger, that I have purchased over the years. It is powerful, does not leak, is very trim and modern-looking, the container and blade mechanism is easy to hand wash, and the mixing container can conveniently be used as a cup. Despite the somewhat higher price point for personal blenders, I highly recommend this thoughtfully designed and manufactured product. Hopefully, I will be able to report the same things a year from now.

I bought this in April 2022, and it’s been really great to use. There are two serious flaws in the design, however. The lid has a small catch to snap the lid shut, but the catch it keeps falling off the unit. Without it the lid doesn’t snap shut. I reached out for a replacement lid and they never got back to me.Also, there’s a gasket around the blade that is used to seal the cup when blending. The gasket has to be removed to clean occasionally because food gets stuck under it. It’s extremely hard to put back on, and it doesn’t really seal properly any more.

First use of blender was to make cashew cream. It’s not bad. Did the job okay, but was a bit frustrating. Controls are preset, and limited. The machinery overheated fast, but some of this might have been my not making a runny cream sauce. It is better than the Vitamix that I bought in 2017 from Costco, which is annoying to wash, and not any better, maybe worse at creaming cashews and such. And, this new blender is cute, much cuter sitting on my counter than the Vitamix. The rating rests somewhere between 3-4, but given this is only my first use, I’ll round up.

Great product

I've only had this blender a few months and it suddenly just stopped running. (Yes, I checked the plug, outlet, etc.). I called Zwilling customer service and was on hold for 25 minutes. The person who answered the phone was nice but in the end didn't help. They said they would email a shipping label and send a new blender. I would rather have a refund, why would I want the same blender that didn't work. Anyway, two weeks later and no email and return label and no replacement blender.As far a the unit itself, I only made smoothies. Even after cutting the fruit into even smaller pieces, it still clogged every time. Had to stop, shake, etc. several times every time i used it. Hard to clean the base.

While it was working it was an excellent blender: powerful, easy to use and clean, stylish. But after only 2 years of using it occasionally (maybe 2x week) it stopped working. Very disappointing, especially at this price. Something else for the growing trash heap.
