A Night In Paris

This CD is the soundtrack for an even better DVD of an orchestrated (by Claus Ogerman) concert of some of Diana K's favourite songs - many are top jazz classics - beautifully sung, wonderfully played by Diana's quartet. For me, the orchestration enhances their cabaret feel of that Parisian concert and walking back by the Seine.... "baise, moi!"

I wanted to add a little jazz to my collection and opted to go for Krall since I came across one of her songs a while back that I liked. All the 5 star reviews pointed me to make this purchase and I can say after listening to the CD, all the 5 star reviews have been justified. Krall has a great sexy voice coupled with relaxing music, this CD plays great as background music at home or in the car. Very soothing and music to help you at-ease. Oh and did I mention the great vocals.

Cracking singing and piano playing. The whole concert, the whole band, the playing was cooking. Highly recommended.

The CD would not load into my Bose system so therefore I could not play it, but for the price I paid (1p) this was quite acceptable.So it has been recycled.

THE RHYTHM SECTION GETS MORE OF A CHANCE THAN IS NORMALLY THE CASE AND WITH THE AID OF OF BASS AND DRUMS (BOTH FIRST CLASS MUSICIANS) THE RESULT IS A VERY SWINGING SESSION.I CAN RECOMMEND THIS CD GORDON CLAY

Another great album from Diana Krall. Does not disappoint.

She is Canada's gift of sensuality to the world. This album will inspire you to take your squeeze and get on the next plane to Paris. And if you can't, open that claret, turn the lights off and drift there in your head...this is a keeper.

Diana Krall on most Cd's has a great selection of tunes. This CD is no exception. Being a jazz musician I play all these tunes and know how well written they are.

Same album as 'Live in Paris' under different title. There are not enough stars available to rate Diana Krall's albums.
