The Phone was good but had to return as the cable and other accessories are not workable in UAE.

In January of this year I upgraded to AT&T VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol), and some of the phone systems that are specifically made for VOIP are twice the price of this VTech phone system! My Mom had many VTech phones, so I was assured of the quality of their phones already. This phone system is packed with many features that makes this an amazing buy! Here are just a few of them: You can set up your own message or use a prerecorded message for your answering machine, you can shut off the answering machine or turn it on with one click of a button. When you are out for the day and come home, if you have any messages you will see a flashing light on the base to let you know. You can shut off the ringer completely, raise and lower the volume of the ringer, and you can even program this phone to shut off for many hours and have it turn on again automatically. It has that all important feature, "FIND HANDSET," for those of us who are sometimes misplacing our cordless phones and end up spending valuable time searching for it. It also has a mute button on the base as well as on the handset. The buttons (as well as the letters and numbers on them) are nice and big so that you can immediately see what buttons you need to push, which makes is a great choice for older people or anyone with poor vision. Although the buttons on the base do not light up, the buttons on the handset do. The sound quality is excellent! No static whatsoever like I experienced with my landline phones! I chose to purchase this particular phone because it has a speaker phone option on the base, as well as on the cordless phone that comes with this system, which makes it so much nicer when someone calls and you are trying to do the dishes, etc. I also like the fact that the base comes with a corded phone for those times when you want your conversations to be more private. For those of you who do not have a cell phone or rarely use one, this VTech Phone System is a great choice for you, as well! This phone system is very easy to set up and I like how the screen on the base is on an angle which makes it easy for you to see who is calling if you have your phone on your desk like I do. This VTech phone system is one of the best purchases that I have made on Amazon so far, and definitely the best digital phone system that I have ever owned! I highly recommend it!

Es el Teléfono base y un teléfono adicional que funciona como extensión de la línea a la que conectas el teléfono base, esto hace que el adicional NO USE un cable directo de línea, trae pilas recargables y ambos tienen altavoz y se escucha bastante clara la voz; la señal la emite el teléfono base, y su calidad es muy buena, tiene varias funciones entre esas trae hasta contestadora de mensajes, directorio, cambio de tonos de timbre y más, Es fácil de usar y puedes cambiar el idioma en configuración, trae instructivo en español e inglés. Ampliamente lo recomiendo.
