I use this file system for my art supplies (Paper, stencils, scraps, etc) It works great for all of my art progects, it does not take up much space, and it easy to carry around. I find that the clasp on the front is a bit of a pain to open up but once you get used to it, its not bad just awkward. I love the flip up small compartment on the to it is a perfect place for exacto knives and other small items I use with my art projects.

I bought this for my teen boys and it has been great for both of them to start organizing and filing their important docs. I like how it also has the little compartment on top to keep a pen, file folder labels, and paper clips handy. It's not too big and it fits perfectly on their bookcase. This is perfect for their own copies of their birth certificate, social security card, and any other docs they need to file. This is an all around great starter file box or great for someone who needs additional file storage.

Nice file box with storage for some small office supplies. I use them as a small file cabinets so that I have the files I need in locations appropriate for their use (i.e. automotive data and tool manuals in the garage, chemical data in the paint locker, tax data separate form other financial files and its portable, etc).

I do not like the latch. I can see how so many broke in reviews. It opens the OPPOSITE way than you think it would. The hinge is at the bottom like some food containers have. It has good space. The hanging folders I bought fit with no bending. The top storage is convenient but I wish it was more secure of a snap. It fit all my needs issues and dislikes aside. Worth the money I put into getting it.

This item arrived sooner than expected & was perfect for my needs: sturdy construction, roomy, latch that I trust not to pop open while I'm carrying it, & a handle on top.

This is my 2nd identical file box. Liked the 1st one, so when it was time for a new one, I ordered the same one. Plenty large, plenty sturdy and I like the small storage "box" on the top. I use it for my oversized deposit slip booklet.

I bought this for storing my file jackets with important paperwork and found they don't fit but hanging folders fit and work just as well

The box itself is sturdy but the latch to close the lid broke off within the first week. Still a nice box though.
