I like that these are rechargeable and they seem to hold their charge while off and on standby. The slide switch on the side is the master switch. Not sure why it goes to either side because I didn't notice a difference switching it from one side to the other. Once the master switch is on you can control them with the included infrared card remote or the button switch in the center of the light. I ordered two sets so four lights total. One remote can control them all. As others have mentioned the control distance is not the best. The included batteries on the remote were probably sitting for a long time and lost some charge. I initially was only able to get control distance of about 5 to 6 feet. I ordered some new batteries for the remotes and distance increased to the stated 5m or roughly 16.4 feet. But that was for turning them on at a distance. Trying to turn them off or any other function, than turning them on, decreases to around 8ft or less. It's fine for me because the glass display cases I am using them in are around 7ft away in the living room. Also the white color could be a little better brightness wise. It's probably the dimmest of all the colors at full brightness.I still would recommend them because they hold their charge, while on standby, for about three weeks so far for me. I only turn them on for about an hour or two and at 30 to 40 percent brightness to conserve charge. Still a great value for what you get.

There is almost too many ways to run these. LOL. The remote is easy to use. I like that you can fully shut them off, I had some that the only way shut them off was to remove the batteries, and they were battery eaters. Nice these are rechargeable.

These lights work well and charge with usb-c. They can be set in groups with the remote and offer different color options and mode settings. I needed them to be brighter though.

I really like not using batteries. These have a pleasant glow that is warm on most colors because the plastic is not clear, it is slightly frosted. My picture shows the white setting, there are much warmer ones. The remotes do use batteries, but last awhile. The magnet mounts are super! I won't give them all stars, because they do need very regular charging, and if you buy a few and then buy more, the colors might not match.

I like low lighting in the living room. Used 4 of these to put over framed posters to highlight. Work perfectly.All colors bright. Had to hit the dim down button 3 times to get brightness right. So plenty of range brightness wise. Magnets work as they should. Read some reviews saying magnets were weak and didn't hold.Nonsense. They're strong and hold great. Very pleased.Only gave 4 out of 5 stars for "remote detection".You have to point the remote straight at them within a few feet. Not a big deal for me.

The media could not be loaded.  Applied on a refrigerator front panel.Before I use it as a light for my mother's guitar playing video...It is expected to be a very nice work.🎉Additional experience in use of remote controller use CR2032 works well better than CR 2025.

I purchased them to be used on my mantle to add “ mood” lightning. Works great! Easy to recharge. Be sure to turn to “ off” when not in use or they die quickly.

At the highest setting the light's are dim at night and disappear in daylight. The fully charged batteries lasted about 2 hours and will have to be removed and recharged often with the very short provided cable. The pucks have two "on" and one "off" but do nothing? As delivered the pucks adhesives will not stick to wood or paint. For remote on/off and color selections the pucks must be set close for them to work together. The remote works only in direct line of sight and is very quirky. Manual is worthless. If pucks are placed under a kitchen cabinet (1.5 recess) you will have to get close and point up at them. Inexpensive, Yes!. Worth it, No!.........

About the size of a hockey puck but cast a lot of light. Settings can be changed for color preference or leave white. Remote for easy use.

I bought a pair of these to replace 'fairy lights' on our shelving unit which take AA batteries which constantly needed replacing. I wasn't particularly interested in the colour changing aspect, but actually it's a really nice feature. I have a light under alternate shelves (2 of 4) and liked them so much I bought another two to mount in the fireplace above and below our cast iron stove (which at the moment isn't used other than for decoration). They keep a charge for about 5-8 hours, and recharge in about 2. I just put them on charge in the morning and put them back in place ready to use in the evening. They come with a small adhesive magnetic pad to attach to non-magnetic surfaces, or - as with the stove - you can just attach them directly to metal as they are magnetic without the pad.

I put these under my desk so that I can see the cats that like to sleep there. It works enough to see them there and basically that is what I wanted. The are magnetic and so far, no problems sticking to the filing cabinet under there. I only turn them on and off just to see if they are there sleeping, so I would think or hope the charge will last a while. Not as long as I had hoped. Just turning it on and off everyday for a week seems to drain it by the end of the week. So 3 to 4 stars overall.
