I keep Maldon's regular sea salt flakes in the top and Maldon's smoked sea salt flakes in the bottom compartment. The double-height salt cells make a marvelous addition to the table.

This is one of my favorite kitchen utilities. Very good construction. Functions as advertised. I've had it for quite awhile now, and use it every day. I prefer this over two separate containers. It's a lot more convenient and takes up less counter space without sacrificing the amount of salt and pepper I can store. If you're getting into cooking, throw away the shakers and use your fingers for adding salt and pepper.

Nice salt box! I have coarse sea salt in the top and my own smoked sea salted in the bottom. Works great!

We enjoy this and it looks great. We keep Maldon salt in one container and Himalayan pink salt in the other.
