It earns the name "Bible". It has evolved from the previous edition for sure. If you want to make more sense of it, also read Tudor Bompa's books, to better understand the context of advice in this book.

The bible. Everyone refers to Joe and this book. While a lot of the information is now more broadly known, it's good to have it in one spot and read it in order. I also like how the book begins with your mental preparedness. As an endurance athlete this is key but it doesn't get enough focus. He's a clearly a passionate and skilled coach. I'm glad I have a copy of this book.
