Can the device be reset? The flosser worked fine for a few months but now it stops after 5 seconds of use and has to be powered on continuously every.

Sorry, I don't know of any way to 'reset' the flosser. It sounds as if water got into something and is shorting it out. If you've only had the thing for a few months I would suggest contacting the manufacturer for an in-warranty replacement.

How big is the unit when collapsed into storage mode without the case?
