This LED colour-changing bubble fish lamp is one of the most unique and calming additions we’ve added to our home — it’s been especially amazing for our little one who absolutely adores watching the colourful fish bob up and down! The bubbling water and smooth LED colour transitions create a really peaceful, almost hypnotic vibe that works perfectly as a sensory light, mood lamp, or even a nightlight. We use it in the nursery and it’s helped soothe our baby at bedtime — even we find ourselves watching it to wind down! Setup was quick and easy — it comes with everything you need, including UK plug, instructions, and a set of colourful artificial fish. Just be sure to soak the fish for a few hours first so they move properly with the bubbles. You can adjust the bubbling intensity using the dial on the base, which is a nice touch. The build feels sturdy and safe, and the double packaging made it gift-worthy. Ours arrived in perfect condition. The lamp base is sleek and available in several colours, making it fit in with a range of room styles — ours is the silver finish, and it looks lovely! First Impressions and Product Information. Product description states it is boxed twice with the inner box being suitable as a gift. This is not the case as it was just the outer box. Nothing major but worth noting. On first impressions the lamp looks great. It is sturdy and well made for the price with only the branding on the front letting it down visually. It is powered by a standard mains plug but does not have an off switch. The dial at the front is used to increase/decrease the flow of the bubbles, however the bubble volume indicator is rather small to read with it not quite working as labelled and so requires some playing around with. The RGB lighting is wonderful and cycles through various colours every 7 seconds but there is no option to leave it on a solid colour. There is a slight humming coming from the motor which is to be expected but isn’t loud enough to be off putting. Performance. Product description states there are instructions but none are included with the lamp. How to use it or set up information has been provided from user experience. Various reviews have said to use distilled water which I purchased from Halfords for around £4. The bottles are 5L with the lamp requiring around 4.5L. Tap water may be suitable but for this review hasn’t been tested. The fish provided are known to float due to trapped air when in use with suggestions to soak in the water for 8 hours or washing detergent until they descend. I placed the fish in the tube with bubbles set to max without any pre soaking/cleaning and within 25 minutes the fish were floating up and down (see video). When turned off the fish then float to the top until turned back in again. Verdict. After leaving it running for 1 hour there have been no changes with the fish floating to the top. The noise of the motor hasn’t increased and there have been no water leakages. Purchased for a one year old who I’m sure will love it. Highly recommended

Good but very loud and fishes like to stay at the tip

Really liked this lamp, got it after seeing something similar at a baby and toddler group and it’s been a lovely addition to the house. I’ve had it for a while now and only used distilled water as recommended, and it’s still working perfectly, just like day one. My son was obsessed with it at first, loved watching the bubbles and colourful fish, but like most things, the novelty’s worn off a bit. That said, he still enjoys it and I find it genuinely calming. It’s decorative, soothing and adds a nice sensory touch to the room. I do wish there was a nice on off switch. You can adjust the bubble flow which is nice. The brightness is just right, it's easy to use and very easy to handle, I've moved it when full despite not recommended as it is quite light. If you’re after something that’s both relaxing and visually engaging, this is a great pick. Holds up well and looks brilliant, I think it's good value.

My son was very disappointed. The fish do not float properly; they just stay on the surface of the water. It is not a safe electrical product, the top comes off very easily, it tips over, and the water leaks out. I returned the item and had to pay £2.79 for postage myself. Poor quality product, especially considering it is not cheap.

Nice design and easy to set up, daughter loves it in her sensory tent and will likely go in her bedroom as she gets bigger, nice sturdy design and quick delivery some potential flaws are - quite noisy (unsure if this is normal for a fish lamp) - no on/off button, requires turning on and off at the mains, - no option to choose which colour, it's just on a rotation - nozzle which controls the speed of the bubbles easily comes off.
