This is an excellent book that provides a comprehensive history of fashion over the centuries, placing in its social and cultural context. Thousands of wonderful images with detailed descriptions and a very useful glossary at the end of the volume. A great resource for anyone interested in fashion and a wonderful coffee table book for everyone to browse (the fluoro lime green cover is a bit strong on the eye but I understand it is consistent with the editorial choice made by DK for their visual guides’ series). The book is also great value for money and was delivered in pristine conditions earlier than expected so happy on all fronts!

This is a course book for Costuming and the tons of photos are very helpful as they each have important descriptions. Highly recommend if you are into historical fashions

En principio el libro llego en excelentes condiciones, sin ningun golpe. Además el precio en que lo conseguí ha valido la pena. El contenido es de muy buena calidad, no solo en la información, sino en las imagenes, impresion, calidad del papel, etc. Sin duda un buen libro a considerar para todos los amantes de la moda.
