This was the first kit I bought and it had everything you need. I ended up not making all of the animals and used the wool for other projects as I got better but I ended up with quite a bit of wool.

This kit saved me from boredom while I was sick. Great kit for beginners. Design reminded me of Japanese style cats and dogs as the do not have eyes. Cats have whiskers and a flat face and the dogs have noses.

Nice simple kits for beginners, instructions are easy enough to follow, and it's nice that each kit's wools are packaged together. There's also plenty of wool in each kit to complete each project, often with some leftovers. I put faces on mine with some materials I already had (but the kits come with the whiskers).As others have noted, it'd be nice if each wool packet were labeled with the kit name, but it's not too hard to figure out which goes with which.My only real gripe is that one of the needle holders is lacking a groove in the dowel/plug used to actually hold the needle in the handle, so it cannot be used as-is. I don't think it'll be too hard to dremel a groove into it to make it usable, but a bummer to need to do so.

I gave this to my son for his birthday. He and his girlfriend enjoyed making cute needle felted animals with no previous experience. They turned out great!

I got this kit for my daughter and it is a great kit! There are so many animals to create. The instructions are simple to follow and the animals are really cute.

The wool packages were not labeled. Here is the cheat: If they have wire it is a cat, if not, it is a dog. Match up the colors to the packets before you do anything else and label them yourself, so that as you work through them, you don't grab the wrong one.Great craft

These were great to add to student grab bag of art supplies, it's not packaged so that it contains the same amount of tools as felting animals.
