I’ve had one of these for a number of years, and decided to buy them for family members. They were all delighted with them, I’m happy to say. The size is really good when you’re boiling large amounts of pasta or vegetables, and the fact that it can be suspended over the sink is really useful and probably quite hygienic.

The construction is sturdy and it fits my kitchen sink very well. These are nice and big, I actually used one as a strainer for the downspouts of my shop to prevent clogging of my infiltration system. It has been out in the elements for two months and it is working great with no signs of rust. Based on that, the one I kept for the kitchen will probably last forever.

I really love this for my sink. I can easily wash my vegetables or fruits and let them dry to store them in my fridge. It is big and deep which makes is even easier for me to wash everything I need at once.

UPDATE: As promised, here's a few photo's of one of my cats (Thomasina) who makes these strainers their bed. Thomasina, the only cat thus far I've been able to capture a photo of in the strainer set. Please forgive the mess around Thomasina and the walls, we are doing some renovations in our home, and we're moving things around as we get to certain areas to repaint, replace and repair many aspects of our home. So things are not quite where they should be yet, but we're working on them.===================================== END UPDATE ==================================DISLIKES: NONELIKES: I bought these from a request from my wife wanting something large she could use to clean and strain vegetables in or used to hold a small amount of silverware or dishes to allow them to air dry.Well, they do work great for that, but lo and behold, our cats started sleeping in one of them that wasn't being used. Now we have several cats that fight over who is going to get to sleep in the strainer over the sink or in it if it's on the countertop awaiting use. And we have every sized cat, from small young kittens to full sized pudgy cats, a couple of our adult cats weigh in at around 20 to 24 pounds, and these strainers hold their full weight when sleeping in them when opened out over the sink basin.We never thought any of our cats would want to use these for a bed, but they do. So now we have to wash them before every use when they've been left empty, because as soon as we put away everything we had in them, a cat moves in for a cat-nap in one or both of them. Every time I've tried to get a photo of them sleeping in it, the little buggers will get up and move before I can get a photo of them doing this. But I'll keep trying. LOL

These work well for doing ice tie dye - I can expand the handles to fit over my container that catches the run-off dye & they are a good size to each fit a t-shirt or long sleeved tee.

It is very helpful and must have in the kitchen.

2 strainers in one package ,, very nice construction , pretty easy to get clean i use one to rinse my veggies and one for hot foods such as pasta ,,great deal , cant go wrong with this one and oh they hang up nice on my pan rack with an S hook ,,, nice !

Absolutely love this trainer fits really well over my sink I would definitely recommend it is much sturdier and heavier than I thought it would be great quality comes in handy for so many things not just point boiling things making it easier for me to empty my cast iron pots but it also is great for cleaning your veggies hanging out over the sink I absolutely recommend this and to get two of them for that price is an unbelievable deal

Has cut us a few times when cleaning the underside of it

Das Sieb ist eigentlich toll und das zweite kann ich gut gebrauchen. Aber die Siebhalterung ist schlecht geschweisst und eines kam totz unbeschädigtem Paket mit ausgerissener Halterung an. Die Schweissstelle scheint echt schwach zu sein.

I love this product especially when you need to strain anything it makes it very easy and you get a good quality product for a great price

I was looking everywhere for this. It will make cooling vegtables after blanching. So easy . 😌
