A wonderful large cocktail shaker. Heavy duty with all the pieces fitting snug but not too tight with no spillage while shaking or pouring. I've been looking for a shaker like this a long time. Now I've got it.

I never write reviews, especially for an item this small, however I felt compelled to do so because I was amazed at how useless this thing was. I purposely bought it because of the "easy separation" rim on the lid. I swear to God, I had to purchase two of these shakers because the first one, I had to assume was a defective fluke. It would not open, at all. My husband, who is 6'2 and 200 lbs could not open it either. I purchased the second one which arrived today, and it was exactly the same, completely sealed shut with no way of opening. I almost felt like this was a prank, but it happened twice.

Update:After using the shaker, I am actually kind of disappointed that there are some leaks. I have to take extreme care and press the cap really firm and shake it in the sink just to avoid any spills.Review1:Mixing cocktails is my most recent hobby and I was lucky to get this one at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. It is a sturdy cocktail shaker made of high quality materials. I love that their facebook page has a number of cocktails recipes and I can't wait to try them out! The instructions on the box clearly says NOT to put the product in the dishwasher, I guess that's what made me knock a point off of my review. I'd have loved for it to be dishwasher safe. The accompanying spoon is great for cocktails that require stirring.I rely on amazon reviews before purchasing this and would not manipulate my review because I got a discount. I probably would not buy this for nearly $30 as a beginner when I can get nearly three more products in a set for the same price.

It leaks when shaken vigorously. Top part became totally stuck after several uses and had to be forced off, damaging the shaker in the process.

Today I received the Cocktail Shaker Premier by Knock 1 Back that was shipped very quickly by Amazon Prime. The lid stays put while shaking your drink, but comes off easily when you’re ready to pour. I really wish that the outer packaging was a bit more substantial for gift giving purposes. It seemed a bit inexpensive or cheap on the outside, but when I opened the package, I was impressed with the quality of the product. This 28 ounce cocktail shaker is quite lovely to look at and very effective in whipping up a quick mixed drink. I gave this product 4 stars due to the higher price of the product compared to others in the same category. It's a great cocktail shaker.

I received my shaker today and took the cover off and there's MOLD in the bottom of the shaker. Makes you question where they are storing these products. Yuck
