High quality item, well made and fits inside the old radio. But the leads were too short--they need to be 7" long. If the wires are long enough, you will love this product.

Simple and cheap. I taped them in series to a yardstick for generating 4.5 and 6 volts. Can also glue or velcro the flat sides together. If trying to use 6 or more together in parallel or series, check the voltage while running the load to see if the voltage sags, especially if the wire leads are kept longn

They do what they are supposed to do. Not high quality but not bad either. And all at a decent price.

When buying a AAA battery holder, you have one thing in mind...durability. You dont want the case to crack, the springs to pop out or the leads to be insufficiently connected. You could probably find them elsewhere for a buck or two less, but you probably couldn't receive them any faster. Maybe that's two criteria then - durability and delivery time. Oh, and price, too. I guess there is really three things you probably have in mind if you are considering ordering these. Maybe there's more, but I can't think of any. I recommend buying these, but only if you need a set of of AAA battery holders. Otherwise, you're just being foolish with your money.

This is an overall great product for either replacing or adding this power delivery to your project. Depending on what you are using it for may determine if this one is right for you. PRO: 1. This product will solve this problem. Check your deminsions of the old to this product. 2. Great value for the price. Just like most things you may only need one and not 12. However, for the price you can't beat it. CONS: 1. I know this design has been around a long time but a sturdier/stable connection to the housing could improve an already great product. A little rubber shrink connecter at the exit from the case would definitely add more value to this product.

The AA battery holder in a laboratory instrument had corroded. I was able to solder the wires from this AAA holder to the original terminals and slip it into the old holder. Nice repair.

Have a water sensing device that uses a Propietary battery. Unscrewed the box apart to find double AA battery installed in the propietary holder. At over $20.00 per battery which may last 4 to 6 months at best will solder these inline and as the battery runs low will be able to install fresh batteries emiminating odering the propietary battery. Plus no wait time for battery to be delivered.

The battery holders were delivered in a timely manner and were as advertised. They work well for the applications I use them for. I would recommend this product.

These AA battery holders are of good quality and offer good battery retention. The wiring is long enough to allow tailoring leads to fit a particular installation. These were purchased to replace battery holders in an Elecraft KX1 CW QRP transceiver. I eventually managed to complete the installation BUT these new holders are a touch wider than the original ones -- about 2 to 3 mm or so .... This required some creativity to fit in an extremely tight environment. Something to keep in mind if you replace or retrofit anything.
