These No Pull Harnesses Really Work with our two Akitas! Wow!
We have two big, full-figured Akita girls who pull so hard while we walk them that we have been calling them"The Freightliners". I have been thinking about getting some of these "no pull" harnesses for about the last year or so. I pulled the trigger and bought two of these harnesses for our two, still growing Akita girls (75 and 85 pounds a piece). I wasn't expecting much because of the sometimes stubborn, always independent, dominant traits that belong to the Akita, which is still considered a primitive breed. My husband and I were amazed when we stepped outside with "The Freightliners" (Our two young Akita girls). There has been NO pulling, with the minor exception of when they have to "do their biusiness". We are actually having leisurely walks with these girls (as well as our one very well behaved Akita boy). I am still marveling at how effective, at what a huge change this is for us. We are senior citizens, and have been concerned about how we will do as we continue to become even more, nearly ancient. So I heartily, enthusiastically recommend you harnesses to others. Thank you so much. We actually really enjoy our walks now, instead of dread them.

Nice harness
My 6 m sheprador so they say anyway is about 50# I got a large. Ive been searching for a no pull harness because he's a big boy and pulls hard. This harness is better quality then what I saw at the pet stores. Thick padding. High quality clips. The adjustment part is a little stiff but I figured it out. I currently have it to the smallest setting since he's still growing but I'm happy with my purchase so far. I do wish the leash ring on the back was metal for some reason the one on the chest is a big metal ring while the back is a small plastic piece

3.5 Star: NOT a 'no pull harness'. Plastic Attachment Points. No "Easy Lift" handle
(size L) Pros: This is a well built and designed harness and the buckles are placed over the fabric portions of the harness to prevent chafing and pinching, with 4-point adjustments unlike our previous Kong harness and at a much better price point. The claim for the stitching being 'super reflective' is accurate. This is evident even in incidental home lighting.Cons: I do NOT see how this harness is supposed to be a 'no pull' harness. This seems like a claim that every harness maker slaps on their harnesses description. To have any counter-effect on pulling, the harness would need something like a Martingale-Style Training and Correction Dog Collar built-in as part of the harness. This harness lacks any such feature. -1/2 starThe "2 Sturdy Metal Leash Attachment Points on the Back and on the Chest" appear to be plastic, not metal. They are also smaller than optimal, at least for larger dogs. On my last harness, it was simple to attach the stationary outdoor tether while her walking lead was still attached. With this, one has to remove the walking lead to attach the tether. -1/2 starThe "Top Easy Lift Handle" is a thin strap. Padding this handle would be a good move to actually make it easy on the hands in lifting situation as our Kong Harness had-ESP. for LARGER Dogs! -1/2 star

Does. NOT. Help. With. Pulling.
Should not be called No-Pull dog harness. I realize training is the only real fix, but with a lack of time and motivation, I was hoping this would help my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and his sled dog-like pulling. Nope. Not a bit. However, the harness is beautifully made and looks like it will last for years of pulling!

Perfect for large breed puppies
I got the X lrg size for my 15 week old great dane who is currently about 45 pounds. I wanted something that she could grow into because I didn't want to have to keep getting her harnesses as she went through her growth spurts. I figured it may not fit her right away but she would eventually grow into it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that adjusting it down to it's absolute smallest size fits her pretty well. It definitely can be adjusted to a HUGE size, I'm confident that as an adult this harness will fit her well.As for comfort it is padded very well and it's super adjustable so it's easy to adjust it according to comfort. It's also made very well. The price is great! I've looked all over for a harness that would fit my dane and this is the only good one I've found that isn't over $40. I'd say if you have a large breed puppy and want a harness that they'll have for life, this is a great option

No escaping!
My puppy is already a master of escaping harnesses. I bought the Barkbay No Pull Harness with the front clip because the instructor at our puppy class suggested getting this type of harness. It is the best design I've used. It is easy to put on and adjusts nicely to fit him. The first thing he did when I took him outside was to pull and attempt to get out of the harness. All of his tricky moves did not work. I am very happy with this harness. He had slipped out of 3 older harnesses, so this is a wonderful improvement. And the color is very nice. I cannot recommend this harness enough. Kuddos to the manufacturer and seller!

I give this harness 5 out 5 stars!
I have an 8 month old golden retriever/lab mix and this harness is perfect for him! He actually loves it too! Hates when I take it off of him and he walks so much better now while on a leash!

Feels and looks like a much more expensive harness!
My havanese mix is about 16 lbs and fit a small harness perfectly. It’s super padded and adjustable around the neck and behind their legs. Generous cut outs around legs prevent rubbing or restricting movement. It’s a little crooked in one of my pictures, but it fits snug and even when adjusted correctly. Great harness!

Good Quality
This is just the harness I have been looking for, I have spent a lot on different harnesses bot this one is the best, plenty of room for putting the head through the only criticism I have is that the adjusting straps on the sides hang down, if you tuck them into the harness they still fall out and trail on the ground, my solution was to thread them through with the elasticated holder and sew them both together, this does not affect the elasticity as they are just sewn onto one another. It works perfectly.

strong
It has certainly helped to have a little more control over my young Great Dane.We had him at 10months and he had no lead training.which is quite exhausting, but the harness does give a degree of control. The only negative in our case,is that if I tighten it enough to stop it slipping it is a little uncomfortable, but to be fair my pup pulls so much that my son is the only one who can walk him,but for a less strong puller I would recommend it highly

Supports a dog with stability problems
Bought for my collie after he suffered an inner ear balance illness that has left him with some instability and close vision impairment. He took to this harness straight away and after adjustment it fitted him very well. As it gives support around the neck, lower ribs and these are joined by a wide comfy section along the sternum, this allows me to use the two point lead attachment or handle to give him stability and assist him up and down stairs without discomfort. This has been brilliant in enabling him to be safely walked and he now knows when I get it down, that it us time for a walk

Very easy to get the size right and put on.
This has been the first harness that my dog has actively wanted to put on without encouragement. The connecting parts look and feel strong the material will easily wipe clean and dry. He’s a puller and this a made walking much easier for me, he can still pull a little but if I purchase the extra attached lead it would discourage him I think.
