They don’t work. The bird landed right next to it like it wasn’t there

Bought to keep finches from nesting in hanging plants on front porch. A sweet little finch built a nest right under the reflective sunflower. Apparently the birds enjoyed the reflection as the pot twisted in the breeze. The fern didn’t fare too well until the babies finally took flight and I could clean out the nest materials. Will look for another bird deterrent for next summer. The reflective sunflowers didn’t work at all. Just a happy decorative addition to the plant.

These actually work! Both three sets for a larger area in the backyard so we could get all angles of the sun.

I placed these wherever I observed birds digging in the mulch. They are still digging and right in front of these stakes. Nice idea, but poor results. At least for me.

I purchased these because I was having issues with birds making nest in my planters. After installing these, the birds stopped making nest in my planners as they are hard for them to stand on maneuver around plus birds, do not like the reflection that is on each side of the stake

My basil isn’t being eaten now. Love it

Had (still have) a problem with birds digging up the mulch around the house, set these about 6 feet apart on three sides Side (North), Back (West) & Side (South). Nothing changed, total waste of time and money (luckily not much money).

I have fought the squirrels and birds for years when I plant seeds. These stakes Do seem to scare them.
