Tenedos Honey Onyx Yellow Gold Split Face 1x2 Mosaic Wall Tile for Kitchen Backsplash, Bathroom Wall, Fireplace Surround

I did not use it for my kitchen backsplash as intended due to the fact that I felt it would be hard to clean. That said, it's beautiful in both color and texture and well made.

The product is absolutely gorgeous, but the supplier shipped it by folding it in half and stuffing it in a Priority Mail box without any protective packing/wrapping. When I received it there were a fin of chunks falling out if the box/broken as a result. We had just ordered one tile to color match, so didn't take it up with anyone, but would definitely be concerned if we were placing an order to use. Two stars because the product is simply gorgeous, but the poor shipping should really make this a one star rating.

Overall the undamaged tiles and the finish style are beautiful. Since we only ordered one 12x12 sheet as a sample, it was folded in half and sent in a priority box which is reasonable as there was a decent amount of packing material inside. Overall one tile is broken in half, three tiles have what looks to be a corner broken off with a small pile of gray-ish crumbled stone pieces glued where the missing corner should be (like a gap filler), and one tile just has the corner broken off and you can see the mesh behind it.I ordered from this listing specifically because Oracle has been named over and over as a good company to buy from via Amazon. We ARE going to use this style tile but haven't yet decided whether we'll order from this company through Amazon. Contacting company to find out if the tile normally ships with a cardboard backer behind the tile (and this one didn't because it needed to be folded to fit in the box?) or if this method of shipping is standard?If we had ordered one sheet to finish a job or cut into strips for a border, we'd be very unhappy and returning this immediately. As it's a sample - and not worth the time and money to send one sheet back - we'll keep it and use it for cuts regardless of where we buy the rest of the split face onyx tile to finish the job.

The seller I purchased from is Oracle. Can't say enough about the quality of Oracle's tile and their customer service. I ordered several different patterns of onyx tile and moldings, and all were shipped quickly via UPS and very well packed--- not a bit of damage and great quality tile. Would have cost me 3X as much for some of these patterns locally.

Bought the polished onyx mini brick mosaic pattern from Oracle. Couldn't be happier. The installer said it was the hardest, best polished onyx he'd seen in his 30 years in the business. Did a 60 sq.ft. backsplash with many, many cuts and didn't loose one single piece to breakage.
