The w40 in my 75 is good flow but ends up with too much one direction flow anyway I put it. Will a w10 (??) aimed at the w40 help even the flow?

Based on it being the recommended model for 60 to 150 gallon tanks, I purchased this for my 75 Gallon Reef Tank. It's a typical setup with live rock placed in the center from left to right and Fiji Pink Sand. I wanted the flow to start behind the live rock to flush out any debris on the sand, but even at 30%, I ended up with no sand behind the right side of the live rock and a huge mound of it on the left front side where it had been blasted to. Also, contrary to a review that I read further on, I had to put an unsightly media bag around the area behind the fan, because it has sucked in fish and shrimp. I do not enjoy having it feed $80 fresh sushi to my hermit crabs. I'm giving up on this and researching for a better model.
