Replacement Audio Cable Compatible with SteelSeries Arctis 3, Arctis 5, Arctis 7, Arctis Pro(Male to Male)

I knew when I bought these, the cables were Chinese knock-offs and not official SteelSeries cables. BUT, I needed something fast while I waited 3 weeks for my official cables for my Arctis 5. Yes, they do fit and I can hear audio and use my mic.The Bad:- ear cups do not light up when using these cables- mic LED does not turn red when mic is muted- when mic is muted, people on Discord can hear audio through my mic- people can hear audio from ear cups through the mic when not muted- the connection to the ear cup is not solid, i would get a weird audio hum and wiggling the wire would fix itWith my new SteelSeries cables arrived the above issues are resolved. BUY these if you need a quick fix, but do not expect QUALITY. Just a warning.

I do not know if the cord or anything inside is defective, but when I pug in this cord I bought and join a friend on Discord or Xbox companion, they can hear themselves and my game, which is not good at all since we play FPS games sound is everything. I also checked by using window sound features and I am indeed able to hear myself and whatever else I'm listing to or play. I willing to give another cable a chance but if it not working I will be returning it.

Product is somewhat difficult to insert into headphone jack and has a slicker feel compared to the original.

Honestly disappointed. The original cord is too short and this one is even shorter making it virtually useless. That is why the original broke. I know have to look for another replacement, just keep that in mind if you plan on buying this. Sound quality is good but it will break due to the cord being shorter than the original by a small amount. I will reluctantly give 4 stars just because it works fine but I'm not one bit happy about this purchase.Update to 1 star after it starded crackling my mic feed in less than a week.
