Way better than expected.
Ok guys, here it is. I am some what of music nut, with some very expensive equipment to some very cheap mobile(but serves it purpose) equipment. I was looking for a speaker system for a small block party coming up in a few weeks. I needed something that could produce high volumes of clear music with realistic(I dont expect low deep pounding bass from a system under $800) tight bass that wouldnt get distorted or break apart at high vloumes. Originally I had purchased a different "No Name" brand PA system with all the same function(minus the flashing lights). The PA system cost $220 and was 2 12" woofers with horns. To keep it short, it sounded like 2 6x9 car speakers screaming for help. So I immediately returned the item and started my search again. The problem was everything I came across was either high end and too expensive for my needs or low end junk that from reviews could tell wouldnt meet my needs. I came across this company and some of the outdoor party stuff it had. To my surprise I could only find reviews on their portable or smaller (12" woofer) outdoor systems. The reviews on the portable systems were a mix bag of good and bad. The reviews on the smaller 12" outdoor systems seemed to all be good. Still I couldnt find one review about the company or its products on any other website other than amazon so I was still hesitant. I decided to email QFX directly and ask them to compare a couple of their products(believe it or not they sell tons of items) that I was able to purchase thru amazon. Juan had guided me to this product here.Pros: seems to be pretty well made for an under $500 systemthis thing is LOUD, with no distortion unless you put every equilizer up on both the system and the device youre using for music.Extremely easy to connect to bluetoothequalizer, bass and treble gains are again pretty aqurate for an under $500 systemLights are cool, but honestly dont need them and probably wont ever turn them onthe bass is tight and a little deeper than I expected from an 18" woofer (again not a subwoofer)Cons: its heavy, but again not that much of an issue for me because it rolls easily outsideIts loud! now I know I said this is also a positive, but it also might be a negative as Im not sure how the speakers will hold up after pounding them for a few monthsLights.... like I said I have no need for the lights and I wish they wouldve made this exact same system without lights and invested that money into having at least one of the woofers as an actuall sub woofer. Again the bass is far better than expected but if they wouldve had one of the speakers an actual sub woofer, this system would be INSANE>
