how do carbothellos differ from conte or caran d'ache pastel pencils? does anyone own all three, or the carbothellos and one more? TY for your help.

Hi! I really like the Carbothellos, the are "softer" then some other brands and it makes it easier when you want to use them to blend colors that you already have layered with your pastel sticks without it. they work well on top of watercolor too. The colors are beautiful and they are also easy to sharpen to a fine point if you are doing a detail work. I also own Conte pencils, they are "fat" pencils and harder,they work great for texture but harder to layer.

I have a set of PrismaColor regular colored pencils. How much difference is there between those I have and these pastel pencils

These are great for large backgrounds and filling in color...very much like a pastel in a pencil form, dry and blended beautifully..prismacolor are better for more detailed work, defined lines, waxy texture

What colors come in this set? I couldn't tell much from the pictures and was curious. Thanks! (Basically want a list of all the colors)

This set of pencils don't have color names for each 0-pencil, they have #'s.

Where are these made? Country of origin?
