I bought samson mk-10 stand and samson c01. they have different screw size, what should i do? if i buy a spider shockmount, will it fit the stand?

In side the swivel adapter for the C01 there is a 3/8"-16 euro internal thread adapter. This can be removed with a flathead screwdriver or a coin. The swivel adapter has internal threading for 5/8”-27 Mic stands.

Does anyone know what kind of mic I should use to amplify my classical guitar?

I have been using the Samson CO1 in live applications. I set up on a straight stand where it picks up mostly my voice but also just enough of the live guitar to supplement the sound of the pickup/pedalboard (I am using an LR Baggs VoicePrint for that…which is also excellent for live applications). I am not singing directly into the mic so, basically, it picks up what I would call an “open air” sound. There is no reason why you couldn’t use this mic for your classical guitar. It will pick up some other sounds, depending on how you mic it up…but I think it will be great! I am a big fan of this mic…especially considering the price.

We are hosting an event at anevent space but they do not have a microphone we could use for speeches. Would this work for us? If not, any suggestions?

Shure SM 58 would be better, less hassle.
