I was told this would help me cut out stitches I needed to remove. Unfortunately the curved blade is too large to get under the stitches and I'm not using that small of a count fabric - 20 count. Heavy and seem like they would last just not suited to this task.

I'm not in the medical profession, but I sew and quilt. These scissors are wonderful when I need to clip threads or cut tiny stitches. Sometimes I make mistakes and need to rip out stitches and these make it so easy with the tiny little hook. I bought two , one for me and another for my granddaughter.

I liked these but felt that they were thicker than what advertised and I wanted it to be on the thinner side! Good quality, sharp. Same color and size and advertised.
