I have tried many different types of B Complex formulations over the years and 2 of my favorites are Bronson's and Swisse (both are available at amazon). This one is a strong/potent formula and you are getting your money's worth. I believe the ingredients are (non-GMO & Soy Free) clean and effective, if this company wants happy and loyal cutomers, it will keep providing us with great quality at a reasonable price. - What I like the most about this B complex (after its good quality) is the formulation (milligrams of each B vitamin). I bought these because I am tired of taking multiple B-Vitamin tablets throughout the day. Even the Super B-Complex tablets were a pain- one before breakfast, one a few hours later, and another one early in the evening. With the water solubility of these vitamins, it's just not sustainable to keep dosing alllll day. I bought these because not only do they fit the bill as Super Bs, they are also enteric coated. This is their extended release mechanism- a coating on the outside that creates a slow release throughout the day. Now, enteric coated tablets typically deliver for about 8-12 hours, and from what I understand, these last about 8. But for me, that's perfect, because even my full days don't usually last longer than about 10 hours (in terms of active hours, as opposed to waking up- or later, unwinding at home), and during the hours after it wears off, I want to be winding down my day, anyway. If I think I will have a longer day or need more, I take another halfway through my day. Now, for the good part: I have ADD, and recently went a few days without my meds. I instead took two of these, spread out by 6 hours, and during that time took a battery of computerized neuropsychological tests, just to see how I did without my meds. The result was amazing! As compared to recent tests, my performance was almost totally average- barely any indication of ADD inattention. My therapist and I were amazed! Whether this stuff was totally causative is unlikely, but I do believe there is a correlation. I didn't FEEL very ADD that day (I was able to concentrate, focus, carry on conversations without zoning out, avoid getting distracted by extraneous stimuli, etc), and I believe the high and sustained dose of B-Vitamins contributed to that. If you think I'm wrong, I suggest you at least give these a try. Btw, I suggest taking these on an empty stomach. First, since Bs are water soluble, they don't metabolize as well when there's food in your stomach. Second, enteric coated tablets need to be taken without food, because of their delivery mechanism- they need to be dissolved in your small intestine. Also, it's a good idea not to take any capsules with these, because an enteric coated tablet will make capsules become rapid release. The more you know!
