Good Product for Home or Office!
This is a very well-made and comfortable chair. It is not difficult to assemble, it moves well, and allows for precise adjustments (height, leaning forward, etc.).

a good chair, I feel a difference in my hips
As an upholsterer I needed a chair that wouldn't aggravate my hip all day. I've been using this chair for about a week now and it seems to be, I wouldn't say helping my hip but it's not hurting me like my old chair was. Some of the other reviews mentioned it would be nice if it had wheels... no, they are wrong, I've been using a wheeled chair for years now and let me tell you how bad it sucks to have to keep pulling yourself towards your sewing machine because the piece your sewing is huge, and it keeps pushing you away. Don't sew with wheels on your chair. Also, not sure what some were talking about with the issues with the back not adjusting properly, I think maybe they don't have it put together right because the one we ordered works fine. I will be ordering at least one more

Finally found the perfect sewing/quilting chair!
I cannot even tell you how many chairs I have had over the years at my sewing machine! Dining chairs, secretary chairs, sewing chairs, inexpensive chairs, expensive chairs, I've tried them all. I was about ready to give up quilting because my back would hurt so bad after sitting in my last chair for 1/2 hour then I saw this chair and with free returns thought - "what do I have to lose?" Well, its been 4 months and I have worked on several quilts and I have to say I LOVE THIS CHAIR!!!! No more back and neck pain!!! I wanted a chair that did not roll around (have tried that as well). Some people have given less stars because they felt the casters should be included to roll around - all i have to say to those who have stated that - First, which casters are they going to include? Hardwood or carpet casters? So, maybe both? Then the price will go up and those who do not need them will put them in the landfill!!!! So, if you buy this chair, you need to know you are going to have to buy wheeled casters for them if that is what you want. I did inquire and the company does have rolling casters available for purchase for carpet. I wanted mine to slide a little better on my hardwood than with the rubber feet that it came with so I purchased from Amazon the 2" round Scotch Brown felt pads to put onto the rubber feet and they work like a charm! I wish they offered the chair in other colors but it is what it is and I knew that when I bought it. I'm a little technically challenged when it comes to putting things together and I had a little bit of a struggle at first but then figured it out and everything worked just like its suppose to in the end. Highly recommended this quality chair.

Buy the wheels with it!
I love this chair. I especially like how it is very easy to raise up and down. But do yourself a favor and order the wheels. The chair is pretty useless with out them.

Just what I was looking for!
When my oldest son moved out, I converted his bedroom into a sewing/knitting room. My husband built me a beautiful sewing table for my sewing machine and serger, but now I needed a nice chair to sit in. I had been using a cheap office chair for years that had no back support and was very uncomfortable. I wanted something better, but could not justify spending more than $200. Who knew sewing table chairs could run $300 -$400. or more! I looked at office chairs, but a lot of them have arms, plus I didn't feel they would provide the right amount of support for sitting in front of a sewing machine for hours at a time. The chair is made of high quality materials. The fabric is durable and soft, and is the seat cushion is quite comfortable. While the back provides adequate lumbar support, it's not overkill on the support. It easily allows for adjustments of the height of the seat and the angle of the back. The only thing I am not thrilled with is that instead of wheels it has gliders. My husband ripped up the dirty, old rug in the room and put down a new laminate floor. The chair can glide from machine to machine; however, it doesn't move as easily as it would if it had wheels. Don't know how well it will move on carpeting. An important selling feature for me was that it's made in Canada and not China! It's refreshing to buy a well made import instead of a cheap one!

Favorite Sewing chair
I purchased this chair originally to use with my Bernina Q20 in a Horn cabinet, because it does not have wheels. I stay firmly in front of the machine instead of rolling away as I quilt. I used to use a work stool but it had become uncomfortable during long quilting sessions. The Reliable chair is so comfortable and supportive that now I use it when sewing on my Bernina 770QE which is in a cabinet, instead of my CS bungee chair. It's easy to adjust the height between different work stations. The Reliable chair is quick to put together, solid, and easy to keep clean with a lint roller. I highly recommend this chair. Another plus - it's made in Canada, not China.

Game changer!
This chair is worth the investment. I sew and used a chair without adjustment capability and little padding. My back would ache after 30 minutes of sewing. This chair it took about 10 minutes to put it together. It feels very well made and I didn't see any corners cut on materials. I did order rubber caster wheels for it since I work on carpet. After using it for a 4 hour sewing session and I had no back ache. The following day I sewed for about 6 hours off and on with no pain. Recommend you take the time to adjust the chair as there are various adjustments to make it comfortable for your body type. For me this is a game changer -- highly recommend!

Best sewing chair I have ever owned
I sew with a small dog in my lap. The seat is broad and deep as I am tall. The seat back is comfortable. I put a good quality set of wheels on this chair and I can zip around my room like a professional skateboarder. Excellent sturdy quality. I wish I had bought this years ago.
