Convenient size for travel. Great product.
I’ve been a long time user of this product and needed some to take on an overseas cycling trip where luggage space was at a premium. So I couldn’t take my full size container. These little packets are good for two applications each.

Great Anti-Chafe Cream!
As an avid cyclist, this anti-chafe cream has saved me from lots of discomfort. I use it on every ride and it makes a huge difference. It works great and is easy to apply. It doesn't leave a greasy film on your hands and washes off quickly with water. It also doesn't leave and marks or stains on your clothing (shorts or bibs). I rinse out my bibs after each use and any residue cream washes off with water. For me the 8oz jar lasts 4-5 months of almost daily use and is well priced. I like the Eurostyle because it does give a slight soothing/cooling effect when you initially put it on. Highly recommended especially if you are having any saddle discomfort at all.

This is the best cream...don't be fooled by the other guys products
I have used Chamois Butt'r Eurostyle and original formula many times. I go through about a tub/tube or so each summer. I switched to an organic brand last year and was disappointed with the anti-chaffing ability of the cream. Chamois Butt'r has the formula down and the Eurostyle has a menthol cooliing effect. I do not chaff with this cream, even after 100 miles in the saddle...I don't need to reapply during the 100 miles. Reccomend you apply liberally in your sensitive areas. I used to apply to my chamois after I washed my bibs, but now I just apply directly to my skin. Results are the same, but I feel I get better coverage aplying directly to skin. I carry an emergency packet my saddle bag...just in case. I switched to the tub from the tube because it is just easier to use. Tube is great if you like to throw in your cycling bag, so I actually have one of both for this reason. On a side note, my wife uses the female formulated cream and she has tried others that say they are pH balanced for women...she prefers the Chamois Butt'r best...will be writing that review soon. SOmething to consider if you and your female partner both ride...I have forgotten my cream on a few rides and used my wife's pH balanced Chamois Butt'r. Found it works just as well on man parts! Happy cycling!

Good
Good stuff. I appreciate that it comes securely wrapped so you know no one's used it. I've had issues where I get half used tubs of Asos from Amazon. So I'm happy they addressed the issue here. Also, this stuff just works.

Adds comfort, allows extra miles, almost worth the price
I've been cycling on the road and in the woods for over 35 years. From long experience, trust me when I say that bike shorts and some type of Chamois cream are essential to cycing without discomfort, especially on longer rides. Even casual cyclists would benefit from bike shorts and Chamois cream on a 5-10 mile slow roll. All Chamois creams have some type of emolient to reduce friction, some have "cooling" ingredients. Chamois Butt'r has both options. Some riders cover the entire pad of their shorts with Chamois creams, I'd recommend the Euro style for this. Others use less, and the regular Chamois Butt'r would work fine for this. I've used Chamois Butt'r in both styles, European [tub] and regular [squeeze tube]. Both styles are non-greasy, and both styles do NOT discolor clothing, and both dramatically reduce friction. I like the European style because it goes where you put it and it lasts longer. The Euro style also has "cooling" ingredients so it feels stronger, right away, as soon as it comes in contact with your skin. My only gripe, and I know this is asking a lot, is that after 40-60 miles this product seems to lose effectiveness. Could be sweat, or some other kind of breakdown in the formula. On 60-100 mile rides, I've had saddle discomfort come back with a vengeance. I ride a couple of times a week, year round, and I go through lots of this stuff in a year and it is not cheap. Fair Play: I have not tried using two handfuls out of the tub for a single ride. Maybe overkill IS the solution, but in my option, it wouldn't be cost effective. Is life too short to not have comfy shorts?

Works for me
This summer, I have been riding in a mileage challenge contest, which entailed a lot of consecutive days riding 75-90 miles in Florida heat. After a few weeks of this, I started developing a rash and a couple of "saddle sores" where I sit on the bike seat. Too many miles in too much heat. I was using good chamois bib shorts but also wearing underwear with them. It eventually became too painful to even get on the bike to ride. I stopped riding and attacked the rash with hydro-cortisone and Desonide for a couple of weeks until it began to go away. I also bought a Brooks Swift saddle, to replace the foam-rubber supported saddle I had used for 2 years without any previous problems. The breaking-in process for the Brooks is not without its own issues until the leather cover accommodates itself to the shape of your bottom and sit-bones. At this point, I ordered a large jar of this Chamois Butt'r to give it a try. I stopped using the underwear and applied a generous layer of this cream to the sitting zone of my posterior (none on the chamois itself). Although it feels like you have sat in a can of Crisco when you initially sit down, the cream seems to help a lot in preventing skin chafing and irritation and produces a cooling sensation when first applied. I am now back to being able to ride longer distances; an 87 mile ride last week with only minimal discomfort towards the end, mostly due to the Brooks not being fully broken in yet I think; no chafing or skin damage at all, just a little soreness after about 60 miles from sitting on the same tiny spot for multiple hours on a very firm saddle on rough roads. The cream has very little fragrance and washes off your hands easily and out of the chamois without leaving any oily stains. At the rate I am using it, this jar should last a long time, which is good, because I intend to use it generously every time I ride. I am now back to being able to do the longer rides I like to do, even in hot and humid Florida. Recommended, without reservations.

Anti-Chafing Feature Works Well
I have used this creme for tens of thousands of miles of riding, literally. I have never had a problem with chafing. Earlier, when I was new to riding I didn't use any cremes, and suffered quite a few problems with rash and painful chafes. I believe these are a must for any serious bike rider, and even casual riders if you go for an hour or more. There are many cremes on the market for this purpose and I have used all of them. They all work well. I can't say that this is the best, but it is as good as any. One thing to keep in mind is to check the per oz price. Larger packages, such as this one, are a better price.
