Great bird feeder. Very sturdy. Pieces are metal, not plastic so they have lasted. I had a broken piece on the first one I ordered and they sent a replacement right away. Very happy with this. Great brand, great company.

Construction is very sturdy and durable, only disappointment was the volume of food that it holds. It looks bigger in the online photos.

Easy to clean is a top priority for me in bird feeders - easy assembly/disassembly and most importantly, all the surfaces can be cleaned. Yes, this is a small tube feeder. I prefer small feeders because I like visiting my feeders a few times a day and filling more often works for me over the food lasting several days or weeks in the feeder. I did add 1/4 inch pex tubing on 2 of the 6 perches as noted by another reviewer. One is 3" and the other is 4" long. The finch and chickadee took to this feeder within minutes and use all the perches but actually stay for a while at times on the 4" long pex-perch. I roughened up the pex with scratches. I added the pex in hopes of Cardinals using the feeder but so far, the Cardinals are still using the nearby platform feeder. I did not buy the accessory tray per the reviews on the tray missing a part and because the purpose of this feeder is to make sure the little birds have some food after the bigger birds leave the area. I don't care about messes on the ground - the pleasure of watching the birds is more important than a tidy yard that looks like no one uses it. I filled this feeder with sunflower hearts, chopped peanuts and safflower. The seed appears to be staying dry even though it is raining. At this point, I do not think a Weatherguard is necessary with this feeder.

This birdfeeder is excellent. It’s easy to fill easy to clean and my birds come to it, and sit quite nicely without any difficulty.
