Where can I purchase a t-handle tap wrench that will accommodate the 21/64 shank size?

Century Drill & Tool offers two options that would fit the 21/64" size. Our t-handle tap wrench, item 98502, will work. We also offer an adjustable tap wrench, item 98510, that would work. Both are available for purchase here on Amazon.com.

Can this tap 316 stainless steel ?

Hello, our carbon steel taps will cut stainless steel, but please use caution, as stainless steel can work harden. Make sure to use cutting oil and cut slowly.

For a 1/8 pipe tap my Snap On tap and drill chart calls out for a 11/32 drill bit , but this says to use a 21/64 bit what is correct?

The correct drill size depends on the thread engagement specification of the tap. Century taps are rated for ~75% thread engagement, so 21/64 would be the best drill size. Some taps are rated for ~50% thread engagement and may use a 11/32 drill.
