It is the best product to secure your windows or doors

Great simple way to lock up basement windows
The thickness of the clip is troublesome for some windows but it will fit most with no problem. Overall it's a great idea and I feel more secure knowing my windows have a second layer of protection.

Poor design
I don’t see this working on most modern windows because the grooves in the plastic need to match up perfectly with the clamp. If the protruding screw that’s holds it in place had a sharp tip, was smaller and was closer to the edge it could work but we have 3 different brands of windows and the clamp won’t tighten properly on any of the rails. If you overtighten it cracks the plastic and anything less it just pops off.

Easy to install. Gives us the piece of mind that nobody is gonna get our windows open.
