I am not sure. I can not find a ny information on that. Hopefully one of the other sellers with more knowledge on the Sculpey can answer your question.

Q: Are the Blade's Metal?

Blades? This is for conditioning clay and flattening it. Much like a pasta machine. There's roller but no blades.

Q: Does this work on clay that does not need to be baked?

It should work with any type of clay that can be rolled into sheets (such as with a brayer). Some of the air-dry clays (if that is what you are referring to) are rather sticky and will not roll through a pasta machine very well, unless you encase it in a large baggie or something of the sort - but again, it depends on the clay and how manageable it is when flattening it by hand.

I bought TWO and they both broke!

Thinking Sculpey is the leading polymer clay brand, we tend to think everything should be great! I bought TWO Sculpey Tools Clay Conditioning Pasta Machine, and they both broke. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!
