Beware of US cookbook
I didn't notice that this book was being shipped from North America so all the weights and measures are cups and Fahrenheit which is a real pain! Recipes also differ from the main Dukan diet book which is confusing. However I have followed this diet FAITHFULLY for 2 weeks and have only lost 3lbs (1kilo) which is really disappointing as the diet claims immediate and spectacular weight loss. I know everyone is different but the expectations promised by Dr Dukan should compensate more for individuals. Some recipes in this book are good, but so many are foul, especially the deserts.

So Helpful
I was rather sceptical about the whole Dukan diet.......but.....it is fabulous and it works so with this cookery book it is a 'no brainer' full of recipes that taste so good and very easy to follow. I am so pleased that I purchased this book and would urge others who wish to lose weight to do likewise, you will not regret it The Dukan Diet Cookbook: The Essential Companion to the Dukan DietThe Dukan Diet Cookbook: The Essential Companion to the Dukan Diet

Brilliant!
Having started the Dukan diet and losing 7 LB in 5 days I was impressed! The food plans helped a lot so I thought I would treat myself to the cookbook for further ideas. I have made quite a few meals and they are very tasty. The book is split into 2. for the attack phase and cruise and consolidation. It has stopped me getting bored, however I have had problems getting some of the ingredients such as reduced fat ricotta cheese and orange flower water and such. This has not put me off though, and have lost 1.5 stone in 4 weeks!!

Nice recipes but too many typos
Im loving this diet but this cookbook has too many typos. I have now wasted food on two recipes that had the wrong amounts in the ingredient or too short cooking times or maybe it was temperature of oven. The ideas for some of the recipes look nice but you are better off getting the recipes on line. I made the turkey meat loaf and in the book it says six eggs and a pound of turkey, with some other stuff. I did question the six eggs , but it is all protein so I went with it. It ended up not cooking in th amount of time stated (30 mins) but too an hour, ended up like a turkey frittata, and when I looked it up on line the recipe called for two egg whites to a pound of turkey! Quite a difference, plus 40 mins to an hour cooking time. I ended up having to throw out all that food because it was disgusting, what a waste. There is no room for typos in a recipe book!!!!
