Works like a charm
Got it in a day from Amazon, which is nice. Bought it as a second FOB for our 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally Edition. Pretty easy to set up and program, although, unless you are a Circe Du Soliel contortionist, it will require 2 people to set up and program. The Data Link Connector you need to stick a bent paper clip into to jump a couple of the pins is under the dash on the driver's side, near the center console, so you'll need to pretty much bury your head under there, just to see where it is. And while you are holding the ends of the paper clip against the pins (the paper clip does not stay in place), you (or someone else, since you are buried under the dash, one hand holding the Data Link Connector, the other pushing the ends of the bent paper clip into it), will need to press the Hazard button, which is near the center of the top of the dash 6 times. THEN, you'll need to press the Lock button on each remote you want to program 3 times, again, all while buried under the dash, holding the bent paper clip against the pins of the Data Link Connector. So yeah, you'll probably need 2 people to do it. Other than that, it's pretty straightforward! It's a bit of work to get it set up, but it works like a charm! Looks identical to the Factory FOB too.

Very good and easy to program
Worked perfectly on my Mitsubishi Outlander 2004. Very easy to program it:1. LOCATE the Data Link Connector (DLC) pictured above. It will be located underneath the dashboard/steering column on the Driver’s side.2. IDENTIFY DLC Ports 1 and 4 from the diagram above. Notice the metal contacts inside both Ports 1 and 4.3. INSERT key into the Ignition and leave it in the OFF position.4. JUMP Ports 1 and 4 with a suitable jumper wire. Any metal wire (paper clip) will do. Ensure constant contact between both metal contacts and the jumper wire at all times throughout this procedure.5. Within ten (10) seconds, PRESS the Hazard Light Switch six (6) times. The door locks will cycle once indicating successful entry into Programming Mode.6. PRESS the LOCK Button on the first remote to be programmed three (3) times within ten (10) seconds. The door locks will cycle once indicating successful programming of that remote.7. REPEAT Step 6 for any additional remotes to be programmed within one (1) minute.8. REMOVE the jumper wire connected to the Data Link Port.9. Test all remotes. Programming is now complete.I found these step by step instructions on northcoastkeyless.com !
