This vacuum storage bag is great for memory foam mattresses and mattress toppers! The vacuum seal works nicely, and the zipper seal is secure. The instructions on the back of the box are very helpful, so make sure to read them all the way through.I think a lot of the negative reviews are by people who are trying to use this bag for storage of regular mattresses or very thick memory foam mattresses. There are complaints about the bag tearing and the vacuum seal not working well. I just packed up a 4” memory foam mattress for my pullout couch and it worked great! Rolled up and used the included straps to secure it, and off it went into my garage.

Cómodo cualdo quieres guardar un colchón y no quieres que ocupe espacio. Se mete dentro, se cierra, se quita el aire con una aspiradora y se enrolla con facilidad, hasta aquí todo perfecto.El problema es que el cierre no es totalmente estanco, así que con el tiempo vuelve a coger aire. No es un problema muy grave, ya que si una vez enrollado lo atas con las cintas que trae se queda bien guardado y no ocupa mucho más, pero hay que tenerlo en cuenta.

Summary:Good for sealing mattress to be protected during move and to make it more compact. Straps are not very strong and may need to purchase separate straps to keep it rolled up. Use caution, the bag gets easily punctured if you're not careful. We used this product to seal up our queen sized mattress for a move across the country. By sealing the mattress, we were able to avoid bug or mold while it was being stored/transported in a Uhaul U-Box for over 2 weeks. But the best part was that we were able to compact down our mattress and then even roll it to ensure that it used up the least amount of space. We did use a strap to keep it rolled up during storage/transport. Unfortunately, we did accidentally make a hole in the first try, so we ended up using two vacuum bags (I bought two just in case), but I think that was better so that the bag didn't get punctured while moving it and also so that it was able to stay even more compact.The straps that comes with the mattress was not quite strong enough to keep the mattress rolled up, so we purchased a different item for keeping shape. Also, it takes quite a long time to vacuum, but the patience does pay off.

Had to move my really heavy purple mattress and this was so helpful. It compressed that thing down to a reasonable size, made it much easier to handle, and the 4 included straps really held it when we folded it in half. Suction is dependent on your vacuum, but it didn't take too long to complete.It did tear during the move and I found once a hole got started, it continued to tear fairly easily, but I think most mattress bags are like that.The zipper didn't break open at all, even with my mattress reinflated.Can't complain. It did it's job and was a great price. If I need to move again, I'll probably get another one.
